Pokemon Puzzle League Is Coming To Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack This Week

Nintendo has announced that the puzzle game Pokemon Puzzle League will be the next title to be added to the Nintendo 64 app for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass subscribers. The game first appeared on the N64 in North America in 2000, and it pits players against various trainers and gym leaders
resembling those seen in classics Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow. The gameplay of Pokemon Puzzle League is quite similar to that of Panel de Pon. The game will be available on July 15th.

Video game analyst, Daniel Ahmad, at Niko Partners has revealed via Nintendo’s Historical Sales archive how current and past Nintendo hardware has performed in the Americas. Here’s the results:

There’s A N64 Emulator On Xbox One (UPDATE - The Emulator Has Been Removed)


A new Nintendo emulator has managed to make its way on the Xbox One. Based on the PC release of Mupen64plus, Win64e10 means that Nintendo fans can enjoy N64 games on the Xbox for $9.99. Though it’s likely that Nintendo will intervene soon.

UPDATE 9/27/16 - Microsoft has removed the application from the Xbox One Store. The application was hidden on the store but if you knew the name of it then you could search for it and download it. Win64e10 is still available to use if you paid to download it, but it’s no longer available for download.

N64 And DS Games Coming To Wii U Virtual Console

During yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, the company revealed that the Wii U virtual console will be getting titles from the N64 and the Nintendo DS library. When playing DS games on your Wii U, you have multiple layout options. The 2 screens may be split across your TV screen and Wii U Gamepad in some cases. For Nintendo 64 titles, you can choose from 3 pre-set control schemes, and then reconfigure specific buttons. The GamePad will also support N64 games' rumble feature. Pricing for N64 games will range from $9.99 to $11.99, while DS games will cost between $6.99 and $9.99. If you've already purchased an N64 game on Wii's Virtual Console, you can transfer it to Wii U for just $2. Yoshi's Island DS and Super Mario 64 are the first games released and are available now for $10. You can watch the entire Nintendo Direct here.
