The Tomb Raider Reboot Trilogy Currently Available Free On The Epic Games Store

The Tomb Raider reboot trilogy is currently available for download for free on the Epic Games Store. You can get the Game of the Year Edition of 2013's Tomb Raider, 2015's Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and the 2018 definitive edition of Shadow of the Tomb Raider between now and January 6, 2022.

PlayStation Plus Games For July 2020

The PlayStation Plus titles for July have been announced, Rise of The Tomb, NBA 2K20 and Erica. These games will be available to download on July 7 until August 3. Here’s the full list of games:

Halo 5, Quantum Break And More Getting Free 4K Updates For Xbox One X

Microsoft has announced 2 new games are being enhanced for Xbox One X. During Microsoft pre-Gamescom livesteam, Aaron Greenberg, the head of games marketing at Microsoft, revealed Halo 5 and Quantum Break are both receiving free 4K updates for Xbox One X. Greenberg also stated that Microsoft is pleased with the feedback coming in from third-party developers that are working with Xbox One X. Titanfall 2, Fallout 4 and Rise Of The Tomb Raider will be offering free 4K updates later this year. Greenberg concluded that over 100 games will be enhanced for Xbox One X.

Rise Of The Tomb Raider Coming To PS4 This October

Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming to PS4 this October as the 20 Year Celebration Edition, which includes a some new content. The Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration Edition includes the Rise of the Tomb Raider game, all the released DLC, a new story chapter named Blood Ties (With VR support), online Endurance co-op gameplay, Extreme Survivor difficulty mode, and new weapons, outfits, and expedition cards. Xbox One and PC owners can also get this new content, season pass owners will get it for free. Blood Ties lets players explore Croft Manor to claim ownership from a contested claim by Lara's uncle, with a zombie invasion called Lara's Nightmare at the end. The Endurance co-op, lets 2 people raid tombs as well as craft and survive as long as they can with their resources out in the jungle. Endurance co-op features leaderboards to test your skills against others. Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration Edition releases on PS4 on October 11. 

UPDATE 8/22/16 - Details on the "Blood Ties" DLC have been released. It's set in Croft Manor as Lara's uncle is seeking ownership of the manor, so she must explore the home to find proof that she's the rightful heir. There is also a "Lara's Nightmare" mode set in Croft manor that sees Lara fighting off zombies to protect the home. Check out the trailer below.

Rise Of The Tomb Raider Arrives On PC At The End Of This Month

PC players won’t have to wait long to play Rise of the Tomb Raider. The Xbox One and Xbox 360 timed exclusive arrives on PC on January 28. The game will be available at 2 price points. The standard version is priced at $59.99. A digital deluxe version that includes the season pass will costs $89.99. The PC version will also support 4K resolution. 

Is Rise of The Tomb Raider Coming To PC In January 2016 ?

According to the adventure game's listing on Steam, Rise of the Tomb Raider will launch in January 2016 for PC. Both Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have announced an official release date for the PC version. They have only said that the game will release in “early 2016”. Rise of the Tomb Raider,launched in November for Xbox One and Xbox 360, is also coming to PlayStation 4 during holiday 2016. This is great and all but my question is will this be available on the Microsoft store on PC ? I ask this because Microsoft has advertised Rise of the Tomb Raider as one of the games for games on Windows 10. What do you think ?

Xbox Already Working On E3 Presentation

Looks like Microsoft is already gearing up for E3. Boss of Xbox Phil Spencer said on Twitter that "Planning is going well" for E3 this June. E3 this year will be held June 16-18, You can expect the company to show exclusive games like Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider and the new Crackdown alone with many other games.

Microsoft Will Publish Rise Of The Tomb Raider

A Microsoft executive has confirmed that Microsoft will act as publisher for  Rise of the Tomb Raider for Xbox One. This news gives us a finer details of The Rise of the Tomb Raider's timed exclusivity deal for Xbox One, but also rises the questions about how future ports to other systems will be handled. Microsoft's agreement to act as publisher could mean it will handle marketing and distribution costs, which possibly could be a responsibility it has taken to help broker the exclusivity deal in the first place. The real question is how long the exclusivity period will last. The Rise of the Tomb Raider is set for release in Q4 2015 for Xbox One.

Sony Didn't Know About Tomb Raider's Exclusivity In Advance

When speaking to Eurogamer,  Shuhei Yoshida (President of Sony's Worldwide Studios for Sony Computer Entertainment) spoke about the prospect the of Square Enix title coming to PS4. Yoshida said “Tomb Raider being exclusive. It's very interesting the way Phil Spencer said, what we are saying is, in holiday 2015 Tomb Raider is exclusive to Xbox. So it's open to interpretation. But still, we didn't anticipate something like this would happen," he explained. How could we know? They might have to our third-party relations team, but I didn't know. I hope the game will come out eventually on PS4. But how can I tell? Other than that cryptic message by Phil Spencer. If you're a marketing person at Square Enix and projecting your sales for the game, if it doesn't come out on PS4, it must be lots of units that have to be covered by some means." Rise Of The Tomb Raider is set to come out on Xbox One Holiday 2015
