Zombies Are Everywhere In Call of Duty Black Ops 4 With Operation: Apocalypse Z

Zombies are everywhere in Call of Duty Black Ops 4 with Operation: Apocalypse Z. This operation is a multiplayer-centric content pack that will conjure up game mode similar to the classic Zombies maps of previous games for PlayStation 4 on July 9th and Xbox One and PC on July 16th.
According to Activision, Apocalypse Z will introduce several new maps and game modes that will feature zombie content. There will be a continuation of the Ather Story called "Alpha Omega" and it will allow players to jump in as both the Primis and Ultimis characters for the first time. Gamers will get their hands on new weapons and will be able to operate the combat robot Reaper. The game's battle royale mode, Blackout, will also get a zombie-themed overhaul.
While Apocalypse Z should keep gamers killing zombies for quite some time, it's worth noting that some of the multiplayer maps, including the latest addition to the Zombies storyline, requires The Black Ops Pass. While the pass was available with some versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, gamers can pick one up for an additional $50 from most retailers.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Is Breaking Sales Records

Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has sold more digital copies in its first day than any other game in Activision history, beating out Call of Duty: WWII's previous record and becoming the most popular Activision title on the Xbox One storefront. It's also broken the first-day record for any full game release on the PlayStation Store. Black Ops 4 also sold twice as much as WWII on PC, likely owing to this being the first game in the series to release on Battle.net instead of Steam. Thoughts ?

Here Are The Vehicles You’ll Be Able To Use In Black Ops 4’s Battle Royale

Gameinfomer recently took a trip to Treyarch Studios to talk about all thing Call of Duty : Black Ops 4. During there trip they learned which vehicles will be in Blackout. Here are the vehicles you’ll be able to use on the map in the upcoming beta and at launch.

Land:
  • Cargo Truck (holds one driver, four passengers)
  • ATV (one driver, one passenger)

Sea:
  • Zodiac Inflatable Boat (one pilot, three passengers)

Air:
  • Little Bird Helicopter (one pilot, four passengers)

Call of Duty : Black Ops 4 releases on October 12 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Here’s How Many Players Will Be In Black Ops 4’s Blackout Mode

Gameinfomer recently took a trip to Treyarch Studios to talk about all thing Call of Duty : Black Ops 4. They spoke with co-studio head Dan Bunting and Studio Design Director David Vonderhaar about the battle royale mode, explaining how it pays tribute to the Black Ops universe, how vehicles work, and more the BIG question of how many people are squaring off in a single Blackout match?

Well there will be 80 players in BlackOut, during the beta anyway. Things could change during it’s release or post release. Bunting admits that though Treyarch had tested internally with 100 players, the studio is putting the quality of gameplay first over hitting an arbitrary number. “What’s really more important to us than a number is that the gameplay experience is as refined as it can be, that’s it the ideal perfect format for what players are going to play,” he says. “So we’re starting with 80 players, but we’ve gone higher than that. Whenever we launch a game as a beta or whatever, that’s the beginning of something. We’re going to actively be participating in the community and taking feedback, making changes and adapting, evolving the game as feedback rolls in. So there’s a lot that can go on that can happen beyond that first impact of the game going out there.”

So there it is, Blackout will be 20 players lighter than other BR modes. I’m in the camp of as long as it’s fun I don’t really care about the player count. Call of Duty : Black Ops 4 releases on October 12 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
