There Were Going To Be Rogue One Figures For Disney Infinity

Before the Disney Infinity was cancelled, a number of characters were planned for release, with some of those being Rogue One figures. Character artist B Allen has shared an image of the design for Baze Malbus, (which you can see on your right). Kotaku has reported that someone close to Disney Infinity’s development has confirmed that there was going to be a Rogue One playset, along with multiple figures, for Disney Infinity 3.0. This set would have included most of the Rebel crew. To me this is just a sad reminder that Disney Infinity is gone and it’s not coming back. I would’ve been all over that play set. What about you ? Thoughts ?

Disney Infinity’s Servers Will Shutdown Next Year

Disney Infinity’s end is at hand, and that includes the game’s online community support. With in the coming months, services will go offline in 4 phases. The first starts today, with Disney Infinity 2.0 in-game purchases on PC, iOS, Android, and Apple TV versions being turned off. On September 30, the PC, iOS, and Android versions of Disney Infinity 1.0 will go offline permanently. You will not be able to login to play, and the apps will be removed from the respective stores. 2.0 and 3.0 online and community functionality will go offline on PC as well. Apple TV versions of 2.0 and 3.0 will be removed from the store on September 30. You’ll still be able to download toy boxes for 2.0 and 3.0 on PC and Apple TV. On January 3, 2017 in-game purchases will be removed from 2.0 and 3.0 on PC. Last but not least on March 3, 2017 Apple TV and PC versions will be removed from the stores and will no longer be playable at all. Also on that day, all community and online features will be shutdown for all other versions.

Disney Infinity Has Been Canceled

Disney has announced a $147 million charge related to its self published games business and the cancelation of Disney Infinity. Disney has released a statement regarding the series' cancelation, promising 2 more upcoming sets, "including 3 new characters from Alice Through the Looking Glass," as well as a Finding Dory playset in June. Senior vice president and general manager John Blackwell said he wanted to "take a moment to thank" fans of the Infinity line, "not just for your support over the years, but for creating a community" around the Disney toys to life franchise. “We hope you had as much fun playing the game as we had making it," Blackwell wrote. Kinda sucks to see Disney Infinity go (Especially since I literally purchased it on Saturday) I really enjoyed seeing Disney, Marvel and Star Wars character s all in one place. Disney Infinity 3.0 Get’s More Support In Place Of A 4.0 Version

Disney has revealed that Ant-Man, Vision, and Black Panther will be shipping alongside the Marvel Battlegrounds play set on March 15. Disney is also releasing a Baloo figure based on the classic cartoon's design on March 15 in support of the new The Jungle Book movie. Baloo will be playable within the Toy Box and Toy Box expansion games. Disney also said that there will not be Disney Infinity 4.0 released in 2016. Sony Announces Darth Vader PS4 Console Bundles

Sony has announced Darth Vader themed PlayStation 4 bundles to celebrate Star Wars: Battlefront and Disney Infinity 3.0. The consoles has Darth Vader's face on it and the Star Wars logo repeated on top of it, and the controller is themed after the panel of colored buttons he wears on his chest. 

You can get the Darth Vader PS4 in either of theses bundles. First is the Star Wars: Battlefront bundle, which includes the special Star Wars console, the controller, the game, and a voucher to download classic Star Wars titles, Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, and Star Wars Bounty Hunter. All the titles have upgraded graphics and Trophy support. A Battlefront bundle with the same games but with a standard console, will also be available.

The Disney Infinity 3.0 bundle, has all the same content, except it comes with  Disney Infinity 3.0 instead of Battlefront. It also comes with Disney Infinity Base, the Rise Against the Empire Play Set Pack with Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa figures and the Rise Against the Empire Play Set piece, as well as the Boba Fett figure This bundle will be available exclusively at Walmart. All of these bundles will be available November 17. Which PS4 bundle looks the best to you ? They all look great with each having there own unique flair, but the Battlefront bundle looks the best to me. 

Disney Infinity X Kingdom Hearts Is Coming In Disney Infinity 3.0

Today during Disney's D23 expo, it was  announced that Disney Infinity 3.0 is getting some special Kingdom Hearts unlocks. Kingdom Hearts' keyblade weapon will be making an appearance in Disney Infinity 3.0, as well Mickey Mouse's Kingdom Hearts outfit. Players who collect all the Disney Infinity figures and unlock them in the Hall of Heroes will get access to a keyblade weapon from Kingdom Hearts. Previous Infinity ultimate unlocks obtained by collecting all the figures included a lightsaber in Disney Infinity and a landspeeder in Disney Infinity 2.0. Also those who attended D23 received a special power disc that will unlock Mickey Mouse's Kingdom Hearts outfit in the game. According to the Disney Infinity website, this power disc is only available to D23 attendees and will not be sold at retail. Are you excited for Disney Infinity X Kingdom Hearts ? 

Play As Boba Fett In Disney Infinity Early On PlayStation

During PlayStation’s E3 press conference, Disney Infinity annouced that they are bringing an exclusive figure to PlayStation 4 players with Boba Fett. If you play Disney Infinity on PlayStation 4 you can Play with the Star Wars trilogy's Rise Against the Empire playset a month early. Watch the trailer below to see all the Star War goodness.
