Xenoblade Chronicles X Finally Gets A Release Date For The US

During Nintendo’s E3 press conference, Nintendo finally gave us a releae date for Xenoblade Chronicles X in the states. Nintendo also shared a new trailer featuring a healthy dose of gameplay of the beautiful world, and the mechs, can’t forget about those sweet mechs. Xenoblade Chronicles X will be released on December 4 for Wii U.

Microsoft Will Publish Rise Of The Tomb Raider

A Microsoft executive has confirmed that Microsoft will act as publisher for  Rise of the Tomb Raider for Xbox One. This news gives us a finer details of The Rise of the Tomb Raider's timed exclusivity deal for Xbox One, but also rises the questions about how future ports to other systems will be handled. Microsoft's agreement to act as publisher could mean it will handle marketing and distribution costs, which possibly could be a responsibility it has taken to help broker the exclusivity deal in the first place. The real question is how long the exclusivity period will last. The Rise of the Tomb Raider is set for release in Q4 2015 for Xbox One.

Sony Didn't Know About Tomb Raider's Exclusivity In Advance

When speaking to Eurogamer,  Shuhei Yoshida (President of Sony's Worldwide Studios for Sony Computer Entertainment) spoke about the prospect the of Square Enix title coming to PS4. Yoshida said “Tomb Raider being exclusive. It's very interesting the way Phil Spencer said, what we are saying is, in holiday 2015 Tomb Raider is exclusive to Xbox. So it's open to interpretation. But still, we didn't anticipate something like this would happen," he explained. How could we know? They might have to our third-party relations team, but I didn't know. I hope the game will come out eventually on PS4. But how can I tell? Other than that cryptic message by Phil Spencer.
