Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Coming To PC In August, Miles Morales In The Fall

 On August 12, Insomniac's Spider-Man will be remastered for PC. Previously, the game could only be played on PS4 and PS5. While Spider-Man Remastered will be released on PC this summer, Miles Morales will "launch on PC in fall 2022," according to the PlayStation blog.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Getting New Advanced Tech Suit

Insomniac Games has revealed the first look at the Advanced Tech Suit coming to Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Also announced was a PS5-only update that targets realistic muscle deformation for specific Spidey looks. 

Regarding the rest of the update, official patch notes aren't available at this time, which means we don't know exactly what the "various fixes" entail. The update should be available now on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

Two More Suits Are Coming To Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

Advanced Suit

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is getting two more suits added to the game. The remaster already sports several updates including the addition of Andrew Garfield’s suit from The Amazing Spider-Man film and a “controversial” redesign for Peter Parker. The studio also states that the remaster’s three new suits will also come to the PS4 version of the game, though at an undetermined date.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered takes advantage of the PlayStation 5’s power with faster load times, improved visuals, 3D spatial audio, and haptic feedback via the DualSense controller. It also includes all 3 chapters of The City That Never Sleeps DLC. The game launches November 12 as a pack-in with the $69.99 Ultimate Edition of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Unfortunately, the remaster will not be sold separately nor as a next-gen upgrade for owners of the PS4 version.

Sony has revealed what the PlayStation 5 box art will look like when the system launches this holiday season. In the process, it has also unveiled the box art for Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales from Insomniac Games. 

Insomniac Games Reveals More Details About Spider Man: Miles Morales

Developer of Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Insomniac Games, has released a new trailer for the game. Creative director Brian Horton and senior animator James Ham talk about Miles in the game, including some of his abilities and more. An entry on the PlayStation Blog by Horton also divulges some new details on the title.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales takes place a year after the first Spider-Man; Miles' home in Harlem is the epicenter of a war that's broken out between an energy company and a criminal army. Horton says this story is a full arc, and compares its scope to that of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

Finally, although Insomniac have stressed this is Miles' game, Horton teases that Insomniac still has "much of Peter's story left to tell." He's likely talking about whatever Spider-Man 2 will be, but that's yet to be seen. More about the title will be reached in the coming months according to Insomniac. 

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Comes To PS5 This Holiday

During the PlayStation 5 reveal event, Insomniac showed off its next Spider-Man game, starring Miles Morales. This is the first time that Miles will be playable as Spider-Man in a game, and it’ll be exciting to see how Insomniac interprets many of Mile's powers. For background, Miles's powers are similar to Peter's in that he has enhanced strength and agility, can adhere to walls, and has a spider-sense that warns him of immediate danger. However, Miles was bitten by a slightly different genetically engineered spider than Peter, so he has a couple of additional abilities. For one, Miles can camouflage himself, making himself effectively invisible. Miles also has a "venom strike" that temporarily paralyzes anyone he touches. Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will release exclusively on PS5 this holiday.
