Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Coming To PS5 In Fall 2023

Sony has confirmed the release date for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, the sequel to 2018's Marvel's Spider-Man and 2020's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The PlayStation 5 exclusive will be released in the fall of 2023.

The sequel from Insomniac Games continues the story of Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they take against Venom, as hinted in the first two games. We still don't know much about the sequel, but we do have a more specific release date.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Comes To PC In November

 Next month, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be available on Steam and The Epic Game Store. From the comfort of your PC desktop on November 18, you can swing across Harlem like Miles.

The plot follows Miles as he faces the Roxxon corporation and the mysterious Tinkerer one year after the events of Marvel's Spider-Man. A new clip demonstrates the PC features of the game, which are akin to the first Spider-Man game. Ray-traced reflections/shadows, unlocked framerate, ultra-widescreen compatibility, Nvidia DLSS 3/DLAA support, Nvidia Reflex, and DualSense controller support are among the enhancements. Fortnite Winterfest 2021 Is Live With Spider-Man And MJ From No Way Home And More

Fortnite 2021 Winterfest is officially live, and two Marvel Cinematic Universe characters have been added to the battle royale's extensive pool of character skins.

The MCU version of Spider-Man and MJ from Spider-Man: No Way Home are available in the Fortnite Item Shop. This Spider-Man will also have Tom Holland's "Integrated" No Way Home Suit as well as his Black and Gold Suit. It also contains an emote that allows him to remove his mask.

Also, players can now win up to 14 presents from Sgt. Winter, including three outfits, during the 2021 Winterfest, which runs through January 6, 2022.

“Crackshot’s handing Sgt. Winter the keys to the Winterfest Lodge, where Sgt. Winter will be giving presents to players,” a press release reads. “Unwrap a new present at the lodge every day for 14 days. Wrapped up in the lodge are two outfits, two pickaxes, two wraps, as well as a glider, contrail, emote, lobby track, loading screen, emoticon, spray, and banner.” 

Two of the ensembles are shown below: Krisabelle, a festive version of Isabella inspired by the community, and Polar Peeley, a wintery version of everyone's favorite banana. After unwrapping the six presents that are blocking her, you can unwrap the Krisabelle attire, and after Polar Peely's giftbox thaws, you can unwrap him.

The Winterfest Lodge may be found by clicking on the snowflake tab in the Lobby. If you miss a day of presents, simply return to the lodge before January 6, 2022, when the Winterfest event concludes. 

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Is Getting Suits From No Way Home

 This month, Spider-Man: No Way Home hits theaters. In the film, Peter Parker will be sporting a new outfit. When the new Spider-Man costumes arrive, Insomniac is eager to include them into its game, Marvel's Spider-Man.

The "Black & Gold" suit (yep, that's its official name, according to Marvel) and the Iron Spider-like "Integrated Suit," which appears to have ties to Doctor Strange, will be released on December 10 in Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered. These suits will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5 Remastered edition of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, which is exclusively available as part of the Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition. In the trailer below, you can get a quick glance at the suits. On December 17, Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released in theaters.

Spider-Man, A New Raid And A Big Update Are Coming To Marvel’s Avengers At The End Of November

 Spider-Man is finally coming to Marvel’s Avengers at the end of the month. He’ll only be available in the PlayStation versions of the game, as he’s an exclusive character. But even non-PlayStation owners will be treated to a substantial update that adds a new Raid, power cap increase, and more. 

November 30 is when patch 2.2 is released. Spider-Man arrives in the Great Power Hero Event. The story centers on Peter Parker uncovering a mysterious threat and joining up with the Avengers to prevent AIM from procuring powerful technology. Although Spidey struggles with working as part of a team, he manages to form bonds with Ms. Marvel and Black Widow. The crux of the campaign hinges on whether or not Peter decides to become a full-time Avenger or stick to crime-fighting solo. 

In addition to adding Spider-Man, all versions of the game are getting a new four-player Raid pitting players against Klaw, following the events of the War for Wakada expansion. The update also bumps the Power Level cap from 150 to 175. Players can now upgrade existing gear by recycling equipment of a higher power level. 

Spider-Man 2 Coming To PS5 In 2023

Sony and Insomniac revealed that Spider-Man 2 is coming in 2023. The trailer showed off Peter and Miles working together to bring down enemies. The trailer also features voiceover from someone who seems to be looking for a challenge in his face-off against the two Spider-Man heroes, who man believe to be Kraven the Hunter. Last, but most certainly not least. We got a very brief look at Venom. Spider-Man 2 is set to release in 2023 exclusively on PS5. 

 

Two More Suits Are Coming To Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is getting two more suits added to the game. The remaster already sports several updates including the addition of Andrew Garfield’s suit from The Amazing Spider-Man film and a “controversial” redesign for Peter Parker. The studio also states that the remaster’s three new suits will also come to the PS4 version of the game, though at an undetermined date.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered takes advantage of the PlayStation 5’s power with faster load times, improved visuals, 3D spatial audio, and haptic feedback via the DualSense controller. It also includes all 3 chapters of The City That Never Sleeps DLC. The game launches November 12 as a pack-in with the $69.99 Ultimate Edition of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Unfortunately, the remaster will not be sold separately nor as a next-gen upgrade for owners of the PS4 version. 

Spider-Man Coming To Marvel’s Avengers In Early 2021, PlayStation Exclusive

In a post on PlayStation Blog, Crystal Dynamics associate art director Jeff Adams announced that Spider-Man will be coming to Avengers in early 2021. The hero will be available exclusively on PlayStation.

Adam also says this version of the web-slinger is "our own Crystal Dynamics take on Spider-Man," so don't expect any ties to Insomniac's version. 

Insomniac Games Reveals More Details About Spider Man: Miles Morales

Developer of Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Insomniac Games, has released a new trailer for the game. Creative director Brian Horton and senior animator James Ham talk about Miles in the game, including some of his abilities and more. An entry on the PlayStation Blog by Horton also divulges some new details on the title.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales takes place a year after the first Spider-Man; Miles' home in Harlem is the epicenter of a war that's broken out between an energy company and a criminal army. Horton says this story is a full arc, and compares its scope to that of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

Finally, although Insomniac have stressed this is Miles' game, Horton teases that Insomniac still has "much of Peter's story left to tell." He's likely talking about whatever Spider-Man 2 will be, but that's yet to be seen. More about the title will be reached in the coming months according to Insomniac. 

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Comes To PS5 This Holiday

During the PlayStation 5 reveal event, Insomniac showed off its next Spider-Man game, starring Miles Morales. This is the first time that Miles will be playable as Spider-Man in a game, and it’ll be exciting to see how Insomniac interprets many of Mile's powers. For background, Miles's powers are similar to Peter's in that he has enhanced strength and agility, can adhere to walls, and has a spider-sense that warns him of immediate danger. However, Miles was bitten by a slightly different genetically engineered spider than Peter, so he has a couple of additional abilities. For one, Miles can camouflage himself, making himself effectively invisible. Miles also has a "venom strike" that temporarily paralyzes anyone he touches. Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will release exclusively on PS5 this holiday. 

Marvel’s Spider-Man Gets Game Of The Year Edition

In celebration of Marvel’s Spider-Man one-year anniversary (coming up on September 7), Sony revealed a game of the year edition. This version of the game includes the full base game and a voucher for the three-episode DLC for $40.  

Sony Acquires Insomniac Games

Sony has announced that it has acquired Insomniac Games, developers behind Ratchet & Clank, Sunset Overdrive, and Marvel’s Spider-Man.

Insomniac has worked with Sony on a number of exclusive franchises over the years This includes games like like Sunset Overdrive, Song of the Deep, and Oculus exclusives like The Unspoken and Stormlands. It’s most praised games are interestingly enough PlayStation games, which could play a part of the reasoning behind this acquisition.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Has Become The Best Selling Superhero Game Ever

NPD analyst Mat Piscatella has revealed data for the best-selling superhero games in the United States. While we already know that Marvel's Spider-Man, is one of the fastest-selling superhero titles ever, it is also now the best-selling one. This means Spider-Man has officially web swung over Batman's Arkham City. It certain is a huge accomplishment for the game, specially when you realize that Spider-Man is only on one platform compared to Batman.

Spider-Man PS4 Gets Two New Suits To Celebrate The Release Of Far From Home

Spider-Man: Far From Home is now out in theaters, to celebrate Insomniac has added a pair of new suits to the PS4 game, available at no cost. After updating your game to version 1.16, you’ll be able to use the Upgraded Suit and the Stealth Suit. 

Marvel's Response To Spider-Man (PS4) Being In Avengers + My Thoughts

Crystal Dynamics hasn’t confirmed a potential crossover between Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel’s Avengers, but it looks like there’s a chance. 

During a stream of the E3 Coliseum, Marvel’s Bill Rosemann was asked about the possibility of Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4 crossing over with Marvel’s Avengers, to which he responded “Last time we were here, a year ago, discussing that certain character, the roof caught on fire. And if I was to comment on that character now, I think the roof would fall on my head! So I will just say, right now we’re just focused on creating the best Avengers game.”

If you ask me I think Spider-Man from the PS4 game will 100% be in Marvel’s Avengers. During Square Enix’s E3 press conference they confirmed exclusive content for PS4 players, Spider-Man will be apart of that. Also I find it very convenient that there is an Avengers Tower in Spider-Mans New York. Why wouldn’t the Avengers be there ? Because they're in San Fransisco for the opening of the Avengers West facility. It just makes too much sense to me. But what do you think ? Marvel’s Avengers releases on May 15, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Gets Two New Suits

Insomniac has revealed two new suits are coming to Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4 today.

The first is the Bombastic Bag Man, from Amazing Spider-Man #258, an issue that had spidey team up with The Fantastic Four. There's also another Fantastic Four crossover suit called The Future Foundation suit that looks real slick.

Spider-Man's Final DLC Releasing Next Week

Insomniac Games had announced that Spider-Man's final chapter of The City That Never Sleeps DLC, titled Silver Lining, comes out on December 21. Silver Sable is back to get her stolen tech from Hammerhead, and Spider-Man is caught in the middle.

The DLC also includes three new suits – Into the Spider-Verse, Cyborg, and Aaron Aikman Spider-Armor. Silver Lining is going for $9.99 unless you already have the DLC bundle which costs $24.99.

Hammerhead Will Be Featured In Spider-Mans Turf War DLC, Along With 3 New Suits

Hammerhead will be the next villain o be featured in Spider-Man's second chapter in the game's City That Never Sleeps DLC series – Turf Wars. The DLC comes out on November 20 and also includes three new Spider suits.

The suits are the Spider-Man's classic Iron Spider armor, Spider-Armor MKI, and the Spider-Clan suit from the Mangaverse.

Marvel's Spider-Man Gets New Game+ And Ultimate Difficulty Mode

Marvel's Spider-Man has received a new update which adds New Game+ and Ultimate difficulty. There are also two new associated trophies.

New Game+ lets you go back through the story with all the suits, powers, gadgets, and upgrades you had when you ended it. Ultimate difficulty is self explanatory and is a good option for those that want to play the game in a different way while doing trophy cleanup.

Speaking of trophies, both New Game+ and Ultimate are getting their own trophies added.

Spider-Man's first DLC, The Heist, releases next on October 23. It is part one of a multi-chapter story DLC that focuses on Spider-Man and Black Cat. The DLC will also add 3 new Spider-Man suits which you can see below.
