Halo 5, Quantum Break And More Getting Free 4K Updates For Xbox One X

Microsoft has announced 2 new games are being enhanced for Xbox One X. During Microsoft pre-Gamescom livesteam, Aaron Greenberg, the head of games marketing at Microsoft, revealed Halo 5 and Quantum Break are both receiving free 4K updates for Xbox One X. Greenberg also stated that Microsoft is pleased with the feedback coming in from third-party developers that are working with Xbox One X. Titanfall 2, Fallout 4 and Rise Of The Tomb Raider will be offering free 4K updates later this year. Greenberg concluded that over 100 games will be enhanced for Xbox One X.

Quantum Break Getting A Steam And PC Retail Release In September [UPDATED] Delayed

Microsoft and Remedy have announced that Quantum Break will be releasing on Steam and in retail stores with the physical PC release of Quantum Break: Timeless Collector’s Edition. Both versions of the game will cost $39.99 USD/EUR. The retail release of the Quantum Break: Timeless Collector’s Edition will feature a making of book and Blu-Ray, 2 posters, a CD of the game's soundtrack, premium packing, and 5 game discs, though a one-time Steam key redemption will also be required. Microsoft also announced that both the Windows Store version of the game and the digital version of the Timeless Collector’s Edition are now discounted to $39.99. Both versions of Quantum Break will be available on September 14. 

UPDATE 9/4/16 - The Steam version and Timeless Collector's Edition of Quantum Break has been delayed to September 29. According to the developer, the delay is "due to additional time required for mastering and manufacturing" the retail release of the Collector's Edition. 

Quantum Break Is Microsoft’s Best Selling New IP On The Xbox One

Microsoft Studios has announced that Quantum Break has the best opening weekend sales for a new Microsoft IP for the Xbox One. This means it has surpassed the opening week sales of Sunset Overdrive, Ryse: Son of Rome and Ori & the Blind Forest. It's worth noting that unlike those other games, Quantum Break has also released on PC as while as Xbox One. What do you of Quantum Break ?

Quantum Break Is Coming To PC, Xbox One Bundle Revealed

Quantum Break has been revealed for PCs, while Xbox One bundle have also been revealed. Both the Xbox One and PC versions will release on April 5. Players who pre-order the digital version of Quantum Break for Xbox One will get a free copy of the PC version. The game supports saves across Xbox One and PC. The offer expires on April 14. The Quantum Break Xbox One bundle will include a Cirrus White 500GB Xbox One, matching controller, a 14 day Xbox Live Gold subscription, a download code for Quantum Break, and a download codes for Alan Wake, along with its DLC packs, The Signal and The Writer. The Quantum Break Xbox One bundle will be available from March 29, ahead of the game’s April 5 release and will enable pre-loading to play on launch day. It should be noted that in order to play the game on PC you must be running Windows 10. Is there even a reason to own a Xbox One anymore ? Quantum Break Coming In April 2016

During the Microsoft Press Conference at Gamescom 2015, The creative director Sam Lake spoke about Quantum Break. The game is about the heroes, the show is about the villains. The game was expected to be released in 2015, Microsoft announced in April it'd be moving Quantum Break to 2016 in order to extend its "incredible portfolio into next year with a monster new IP."
