Marvel’s Avengers Demo Footage Officially Releasing After Gamescom

Square Enix and Marvel have revealed that they will reveal the gameplay demo for Marvels Avengers online after Gamescom.

The news comes from the Marvel Games panel at San Diego Comic-Con, as well as made official by a tweet from the game's official account.

According to attendees, the gameplay demo is similar to the E3 floor showing, but more polished and expanded. We'll know for sure a week after Gamescom, which runs from August 20 - 24. Marvel's Avengers releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One,PC and Stadia on May 15.

Marvel’s Avengers Gameplay Will Be Shown During San Diego Comic Con Panel

Marvel Games has announced a game panel during San Diego Comic Con on July 18, hosted by Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller. The panel summary says that it will show new content for Avengers, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, Iron Man VR, and promises surprises as well. Miller will be joined by special guests, which presumably means some developers from those games, and Bill Rosemann, who is vice president and creative director at Marvel Games.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 releases the next day on Switch, so we'll likely get more info on character reveals or news on DLC characters. Iron Man VR is scheduled for PlayStation VR later this year and Marvel's Avengers will release on May 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC.

Marvel Will Have Games On Console’s In The Future

Mobile is currently the place where Marvel games live, but it may not be too long before we see some games appear on consoles. Polygon has reported that a fan at the Marvel Games panel during San Diego Comic Con 2015 asked about any future plans of console games. "We are very much focused on what our console strategy will be for the future," said Mike Jones, producer at Marvel Games. "Obviously console games take a lot longer to incubate, so that will be a slower process for us. "We are very much taking a controlled, less-is-more, quality-focused, developer-focused strategy,"Jones said. "But it is very top of mind, and we'll have a lot more announcements probably next year." What could Marvel has in store for us on consoles ? 

Ken Is The Newest Addition To Street Fighter V

There was a Street Fighter panel at the San Diego Comic-Con today, Ken became the latest fighter announced for the upcoming Street Fighter, Street Fighter V. You can watch his trailer below to see him in action: His signature Hadouken and Shoryuken are making a comeback, obviously, along with new fiery kicks and air combos. This announcement marks the 7th character confirmed for Street Fighter V alongside Ryu, Charlie Nash, Chun-Li, M. Bison, Birdie, and last but not least Cammy. Street Fighter V will launch for PlayStation 4 and PC Spring 2016.

Street Fighter V Will Have It’s Own Panel At SDCC

There will be a Street Fighter V panel at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. On Thursday July 9 at 11:45am PDT, Francis Mao of Capcom will moderate a panel of Street Fighter experts and special guests. According to the SDCC schedule, the panel will be discussing news on Street Fighter V with Yoshinori Ono, executive producer on the Street Fighter as a special guest. 

San Diego Comic-Con Could Leave San Diego After 2016

San Diego Comic-Con could be on the move due to San Diego City Council’s decision to not appeal a court ruling that would end plans to expand the city’s convention center. The ruling, passed down from the Fourth District Court of Appeal earlier this month, struck down a proposed levy on hotels in the area around the San Diego Convention Center ,a levy which was relied upon to foot much of the projected $520 million cost of the planned expansion for the Convention Center. On Tuesday, the San Diego City Council decided not to appeal the ruling, leaving the future of the expansion project in doubt. According to Comic-Con International's David Glanzer, however nothing's certain at the moment. 

"Any decision to remain in San Diego has always been based on a variety of issues, including hotel room rates, available meeting space and other concerns, none of which necessarily override the other. I’m grateful that the mayor, city officials, hoteliers and convention center staff have worked to help mitigate our space concerns and are happy that we have a continuous dialogue with those entities. We hope there will be a solution that allows Comic Con to stay in San Diego for years to come”. 

It’s also rumored if the Con had to move it might be to Los Angles or Anaheim. It would be weird to see San Diego Comic-Con move seeing how it started there 30 years ago in 1991.
