Sprint Stores To Be PokeStops/Gyms for Pokemon GO

Niantic has announced that Sprint will have the first sponsored locations in the US for Pokemon GO, with more than 10,500 stores expected to be turned into PokeStops and Gyms. This doesn't only include Sprint shops, but also those from Boost Mobile and RadioShack.

T-Mobile And Sprint Will Begin Selling Apple Watch On September 25

T-Mobile and Sprint will begin selling the Apple Watch on September 25. With the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6 Plus launching on September 25, it's likely that the carriers want the ability to sell Apple's smartwatch as an accessory to the smartphones. While it's unknown whether Verizon and AT&T will also sell Apple Watch on September 25, it's possible they will also sell the device in the future. What do you think ? 

Sprint Announces iPhone Forever

Sprint has announced iPhone Forever. This this will be a  program where you can trade in your current iPhone and upgrade for $22 a month. There is currently a special offer in place until December 31 where you can get the new iPhone for $15 a month plus the cost of the wireless service. This  deal requires you to be on an individual Unlimited Plan, or a Family Share Pack Plan. What do you think of this program ?

The iPhone Is No Longer Available With Virgin Mobile

If you want to switch over to Virgin Mobile from your existing network for its low prices, you’ll have to go Windows Phone or Android: Sprint’s pre-paid subsidiary seems to have stopped selling the iPhone. Shortly after the iPhone 6 release, Virgin Mobile told consumers that it had no plans to offer the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, so this was probably a long time coming. However, up until now, Virgin Mobile was at least still offering the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, and even the iPhone 4S. Now, though, any attempt to go to Virgin Mobile’s dedicated iPhone page just reroutes you to a page full of the carrier’s other phones, where the iPhone no longer appears.

All U.S Carriers Can Unlock Your Phone Starting Today

Most U.S. carriers have been more lenient about unlocking phones than others, but starting today they are all mandated to provide unlocking once a customer’s contract is up. Legislation put in place by the Federal Communications Commission back in 2013 takes full effect today, and carriers must comply with new policies on unlocking. Phones on prepaid plans will be eligible for unlocking no later than 1 year after initial activation, consistent with reasonable time, payment or usage requirements. Customers must also be notified when their phones are eligible for unlocking, and carriers must respond to unlock requests within two business days. AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Bluegrass Cellular and U.S. Cellular are all on board for unlocking customs phones. Are you happy with your carrier ? Would you switch ? 

Apple Now Offering SIM Free iPhone 6/6 Plus In The US

Apple has begun offering SIM free models of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in the United States. The company unveiled the two devices in early September, and launched carrier versions of them later that month for Verizon, Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile. On Apples web store, they show the benefits of buying a SIM free iPhone, saying that it’s for “those who don’t want a multiyear service contract, or who prefer to use a local carrier when traveling abroad.” The unlocked iPhone 6 model is A1586, and the unlocked iPhone 6 Plus model is A1524. Pricing for the new unlocked iPhones is as followed, the 16GB model of the iPhone 6 will be sold at $649 and each storage tier jump adding an additional $100. The larger iPhone 6 Plus also adds $100 for each tier, so the 128GB model will cost you $849.
