T-Mobile Offering A Free Year Of Apple TV+

T-Mobile has announced that new and existing Magenta and Magenta MAX customers can receive 12 months of Apple TV+ for free starting August 25 in the United States. 

The offer can even be redeemed by users who already pay for Apple TV+. Once you redeem the offer, your paid Apple TV+ subscription will pause and the free one-year period will begin. Once the free period ends, billing will resume. T-Mobile's offer can also be stacked with any free trial included with the purchase of a new Apple device. Look for a "one year of Apple TV+ on us" banner. T-Mobile customers still on the Sprint billing system can redeem by visiting T-Mobile's promotions page and entering the promo code 2021APPLETVP1 into the redemption field. Apple TV+ is regularly priced at $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year.

T-Mobile and Sprint will begin selling the Apple Watch on September 25. With the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6 Plus launching on September 25, it's likely that the carriers want the ability to sell Apple's smartwatch as an accessory to the smartphones. While it's unknown whether Verizon and AT&T will also sell Apple Watch on September 25, it's possible they will also sell the device in the future. What do you think ?

T-Mobile has announced it's adding Apple Music to its Music Freedom free music streaming service. The carrier will also allow new iPhone 6 buyers to upgrade to the next iPhone for free. The iPhone upgrade only applies to those that buy an iPhone 6 this year as part of T-Mobile's JUMP! On Demand’ payment plan. If Apple reviles a new phone this year, customers will be able to swap the iPhone 6 for the newer one, for no extra cost. Also those that buy an iPhone 6 through JUMP! On Demand will be given exclusive priority on their orders, provided they do so within the first 48 hours of the Apple device's release. T-Mobile iPhones Are Getting The Blue Screen Of Death

Over the last couple of days, an increasing number of T-Mobile iPhone owners have reported that their phones are suffering from random reboots and crashes, according to a report from AppleInsider. Many have reported that their devices are often flashing a blue screen before resetting. Some affected users have stated that disabling Wi-Fi Calling has fixed the issue. Others have said that doing a hard reset on their phones also helped. Still others were forced to get replacement iPhones. The problem is affecting iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus models and is happening on multiple versions of iOS from iOS 8 through iOS 8.3. Are you effected by this ? 

All U.S Carriers Can Unlock Your Phone Starting Today

Most U.S. carriers have been more lenient about unlocking phones than others, but starting today they are all mandated to provide unlocking once a customer’s contract is up. Legislation put in place by the Federal Communications Commission back in 2013 takes full effect today, and carriers must comply with new policies on unlocking. Phones on prepaid plans will be eligible for unlocking no later than 1 year after initial activation, consistent with reasonable time, payment or usage requirements. Customers must also be notified when their phones are eligible for unlocking, and carriers must respond to unlock requests within two business days. AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Bluegrass Cellular and U.S. Cellular are all on board for unlocking customs phones. Are you happy with your carrier ? Would you switch ? 

Apple Now Offering SIM Free iPhone 6/6 Plus In The US

Apple has begun offering SIM free models of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in the United States. The company unveiled the two devices in early September, and launched carrier versions of them later that month for Verizon, Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile. On Apples web store, they show the benefits of buying a SIM free iPhone, saying that it’s for “those who don’t want a multiyear service contract, or who prefer to use a local carrier when traveling abroad.” The unlocked iPhone 6 model is A1586, and the unlocked iPhone 6 Plus model is A1524. Pricing for the new unlocked iPhones is as followed, the 16GB model of the iPhone 6 will be sold at $649 and each storage tier jump adding an additional $100. The larger iPhone 6 Plus also adds $100 for each tier, so the 128GB model will cost you $849.
