Niantic is celebrating Thanksgiving with an in game event for Pokemon GO. Players can earn double XP and Stardust starting this week. The event is already underway and ends on November 30 at 6PM Central.

Apple Issues Watch Owners An Activity Challenge For Thanksgiving

Apple is issuing Apple Watch owners an Activity Challenge for Thanksgiving. The challenge: run or walk 5K (3.1 miles) on Thanksgiving using Apple’s Workout app or any third-party app that works with HealthKit. If you complete the  challenge you’ll receive a special Achievement medal in your iPhone Activity app, as well as a special iMessage sticker to send to your friends. The sticker support the sticker functionality introduced with iOS 10.

GameStop Will Not Be Open On Thanksgiving

It look like GameStop will not be open on Thanskgiving to kick off Black Friday sales a day early as CEO Paul Raines confirmed this today. Raines said "We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day next week in the United States out of respect for our associates and their families. Sometimes, we have to not let the pressure from other retailers distract us from our values" said Raines. However GameStop will open many of its stores at midnight on Black Friday, with the rest opening at 8 AM local time the next day.
