Ubisoft Outlines What To Expect In The Division’s 2 Private Beta

Ubisoft has outlined what players can expect when they walk into the decimated nation's capital for the first time in the The Division 2 Private Beta. 

Players start off by establishing the base of operations, then venture into a couple of story missions, a handful of side activities, one dark zone to explore, plus the Skirmish 4v4 organized multiplayer mode.

Developer Massive is giving players control of a level 30 agent to check out an Invaded mission and test out one of the three specializations. 

The demo is available for anyone who pre-orders the beta at participating retailers for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC. You can also register for a chance to get into the private beta here. The Division 2 releases on March 15 for all three platforms. 

The Division 2 Private Beta Starts In Early February

Ubisoft has announced the start date for The Division 2's private beta. The private beta starts on February 7 through February 10. Ubisoft says that players can access the beta by pre-ordering the game at participating retailers. 

Free DLC And 8-Player Raids Coming To The Division 2

During Ubisoft's E3 conference they detailed its plans for The Division 2 and showcased a new trailer. Ubisoft said Washington D.C. is prepping for a great threat, and that when you complete the campaign you get the option to follow a new progression path with a signature weapon that will complement your equipment. You will also get exclusive new tools and equipment depending on which path you take. Ubisoft also revealed that 8-player raids will be coming to The Division 2 and it has plans for 3 DLC packs. The DLC will be free and will be in the form of episodes that will add new stories, locations, and activities to the game. The Division 2 releases March 15 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Ubisoft Reveals Some Games You’ll See At Their E3 2018 Conference

Ubisoft has detailed a few games you can expect to see at their E3 2018 conference which takes place at 1pm PDT on June 11th. The company also teased that they have some surprises in store. What’s really surprising (at least to me) is that Just Dance 2019 won’t feature at the company’s conference. The Just Dance games are been a staple of the Ubisoft conference over the years, so it’ll be interesting to see what replaces it. Here’s the games that they have announced will be showcased:

• The Division 2
• Beyond Good & Evil 2
• For Honor
• Skull & Bones
• Starlink: Battle for Atlas
• Transference

Ubisoft Reveals The Division 2, Full Reveal Coming At E3 2018

Ubisoft has revealed The Division 2, with plans to show the game at E3 this year.

“We're thrilled to announce that we are working on Tom Clancy's The Division 2, and that development will be led by Massive Entertainment in collaboration with Ubisoft Reflections, Red Storm Entertainment, Ubisoft Annecy, Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Bucharest. The Division 2 will be powered by an updated version of the Snowdrop engine that enables us to realize our ambitions for the sequel, but more importantly, we're also taking everything we learned over the past two years and applying it towards the sequel to make sure we get it right.”

The press release also revealed plans for extended support for the original game, including Xbox One enhancement to support 4K, two new global events, and more legendary difficulty missions. Ubisoft previously patched the PS4 version to support the increased hardware performance of the PS4 Pro. More news to come at E3 2018.
