Pokemon Snap Coming To Wii U (Europe)

Nintendo Europe announced via Twitter that Pokemon Snap for the Nintendo 64 will be coming to the Wii U Virtual Console on August 18 in Europe. Let’s hope it comes to North America soon too!

Pokemon Snap Is Coming To Wii U Virtual Console In Japan


Pokemon Snap fans rejoice as the game is finally coming to the Wii U Virtual Console…..in Japan. Fans have been wanting a new Pokemon Snap for Wii U and the GamePad appears to be perfectly suited for the game. Still, we haven’t received one, so this will have to do for now. Pokemon Snap will cost ¥1,028 ($9) and will be available for purchase next week. Let’s hope it comes to the west.

N64 And DS Games Coming To Wii U Virtual Console

During yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, the company revealed that the Wii U virtual console will be getting titles from the N64 and the Nintendo DS library. When playing DS games on your Wii U, you have multiple layout options. The 2 screens may be split across your TV screen and Wii U Gamepad in some cases. For Nintendo 64 titles, you can choose from 3 pre-set control schemes, and then reconfigure specific buttons. The GamePad will also support N64 games' rumble feature. Pricing for N64 games will range from $9.99 to $11.99, while DS games will cost between $6.99 and $9.99. If you've already purchased an N64 game on Wii's Virtual Console, you can transfer it to Wii U for just $2. Yoshi's Island DS and Super Mario 64 are the first games released and are available now for $10. You can watch the entire Nintendo Direct here. Duck Hunt Comes To Wii U On Christmas

Nintendo's classic and epic NES game Duck Hunt will be released for Wii U through the Virtual Console on December 25.  It should be noted that you’ll have to use Wii Remote instead of the iconic NES Zapper. Pricing for Duck Hunt on Wii U is not known at this time. Are you excited you replay the classic NES game ?

Duck Hunt Coming To Wii U Virtual Console

During the Nintendo Direct last night the NES ( Nintendo Entertainment System) classic Duck Hunt was announced for Wii U Virtual Console. The Virtual Console version of this classic game requires you to use a Wii Remote. Duck Hunt was originally released on the NES in North America in 1985 and required the Zapper Lightgun accessory. Duck Hunt was also revealed an unlockable character in Super Smash Bros.  for Wii U and 3DS. If you’ve already played Super Smash Bros. for 3DS this was old news to you, if you haven’t then this was probably really exciting. Are you excited that Duck Hunt is coming to Wii U Virtual Console?
