Activision has announced Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's fourth and final DLC pack, Retribution, is coming first to PlayStation 4 on September 12. The crazed director, Willard Wyler, has trapped the 4 protagonists inside an all-new horror film, and players must battle the undead to escape Willard Wyler once and for all. Retribution's 4 new multiplayer maps are Heartland, a simulation of small town America akin to the Call of Duty: Ghosts map Warhawk; Carnage, a post-apocalyptic race track along the California coast; Depot 22, a watering hole at the end of civilization with a moving train; and Altitude, a sky-high shopping mall located on the edges of the universe. The Retribution DLC pack will be available for $15 or as part of Infinite Warfare's $50 season pass. A release date for Retribution on other platforms will be announced at a later date.

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Getting New Continuum Map Pack
Activision has revealed the second DLC map pack for Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, titled Continuum, will be hitting PS4 on April 18. Continuum’s biggest addition is Shaolin Shuffle, which adds another Zombies mode map, this one taking place in 70s era New York and featuring Pam Grier. Continuum also includes 4 maps:
• Turista – A plush spa and resort, Turista is nestled in the middle of a giant skeleton of an ancient creature. With sniper spots scattered across a majestic, central waterfall, Turista also boasts tight interiors for fans of close-quartered combat and a three-lane design that caters to a variety of play styles.
• Scrap – Set in an abandoned junkyard on the Moon, Scrap features a combination of extended sightlines and tactical pathways that reward players who engage in both long and short range combat.
• Archive – Fast, frenetic engagements set the pace in Archive, a post-futurist art gallery where tight engagements contrast with open exterior battlegrounds in this wide three-lane style map.
• Excess – Perched atop a gilded penthouse in a sprawling future metropolis, Excess is a small, circular map re-imagined from the classic Modern Warfare 2 map, Rust, that retains the intense, fast-paced combat from the original.
Season pass owners will be able to download the map pack once it’s available. Everyone else can buy the pack for $15.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Getting A Few Changes Thanks To The Betas
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare developer Infinity Ward will make changes to the game thanks to feedback and testing from the game's betas. Some of these changes include weapon balancing, perk fixes, matchmaking adjustments, and more. Matchmaking fixes have been implemented to shorten matching times. Some of these changes include player evaluation being relaxed and a fix to geographic categorization. Shotguns will be getting increases in consistency of damage and longer range damage, as well as a slightly increased one-shot kill range. As for snipers, players will now flinch more when getting shot, aim assist won't kick in "until the optic fully reaches the player’s eye.” For a full list of changes and fixes, including other tweaks to weapons and score streaks, check out the Reddit thread.

You’ll Need 130GB To Install Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare + Modern Warfare Remastered
Charlie Intel has reported that a French retailer has released an empty game boxes for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare to pre-orderers. Thanks to the info on the back of the box we now know that those who buy the Legacy edition of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will need 130GB, minimum if you want to play both Modern Warfare Remastered and Infinite Warfare. It unclear if this includes the 6 Modern Warfare Remastered maps that will be made available in December. This is probably the biggest game file size I’ve ever seen. I don’t understand why the file size is so big, we’ll most likely find out when it releases and people have a dig at the game files. My question is, if it’s 130GB before the DLC season, how big will the file size be after ? Thoughts ?

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered May Require Infinite Warfare Disc To Play (UPDATED)
As we already know Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is only available digitally, as part of the special editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, meaning players have to spend at least $80 to get it. If Activision's official website is to be correct, you may also need to have the disc for Infinite Warfare in your console in order to play the game at all. According to Call of Duty fan site Charlie Intel, the official website for Modern Warfare remaster includes the following wording, in relatively small text:"Modern Warfare Remastered is a full game download (game disc must be inserted to play Modern Warfare Remastered)." Also according to the FAQ section, Remastered is a separate full-game download, but doesn't really say anything about the disc issue. Thoughts ?
UPDATE 10/5/16 - Activision has confirmed that on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, if you own a physical copy of Infinite Warfare, a disc must be inserted in order to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, and the disc will need to remain inserted to continue playing Remastered. Modern Warfare Remastered is a separate download that requires an internet connection, but once your download is complete, you do not need an internet connection for traditionally offline modes like campaign play. If you purchase Infinite Warfare digitally on consoles, there are 2 separate downloads, and there is no requirement to have them both installed simultaneously.
