Is A New Batman Arkham Game Announcement On The Horizon ?

Batman day was celebrated over the weekend for the 80th anniversary of the character. In celebration, WB Games Montreal released a video of the bat symbol projected on a building. During the video you’ll see symbols appear, then flash away. The tease implies this studio may be working on something new in the Batman universe. Check out the video for yourself in the tweet below. A popular theory is the symbols pointing to a secret society like the Court of Owls or League of Assassins. Thoughts ? Could the game be announced at Sony’s State of Play tomorrow ?

Batman: Arkham Knight Is Still Having Issues On PC

Batman: Arkham Knight has returned to Steam following its being taken down of bugs after its launch. Soon after the game returned, comments on Steam and Reddit reveal problems including stuttering, plummeting frame rates and freezing are still rife. Warner Bros. has acknowledged its failed to fix 2 bugs that plagued the game. A blog post warns players of a GPU issue affecting Windows 7 users that gappen after "extended gameplay sessions" and sees a hard drive paging issue occur. To solve this, you need to relaunch the game. The post also advises Windows 10 owners to have "at least 12GB of system RAM" in order to "operate without paging and provide a smoother gameplay experience." Warner Bros. just can’t catch a break with this game on PC. My question is why even release it back on Steam if they knew they had 2 more bugs to fix. What do you think ?

Batman: Arkham Knight To Stay Broken On PC Until September

Batman: Arkham Knight continues to have problems on PC and may not be fixed anytime soon, according to a leaked retailer memo. Kotaku Australia has reportedly seen an internal email sent to EB Games staff, which explains the game won't be fixed until the Australian Spring. "As previously advised, we have stopped sales of Batman: Arkham Knight PC while Warner and Rocksteady work on addressing performance issues with the game," it reads. "The latest information from Warner is that the updates won’t be available until Spring. Due to this we have made the difficult decision to recall all PC stock from stores to return to the vendor until an acceptable solution is released.” As we know the game was pulled from sale on Steam after reports of performance problems and missing graphical features arose when the game launched last month.  You gotta feel bad for PC gamers as this is just uncalled for and shouldn’t of happened in the first place. What do you think ?

Rocksteady Suspending PC Sales Of Batman: Arkham Knight

The PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight has been suffering from many issues, and in response Rocksteady is suspending sales of the game in order to get it fixed. Rocksteady had this to say about suspending sales of the game: “We want to apologize to those of you who are experiencing performance issues with Batman: Arkham Knight on PC. We take these issues very seriously and have therefore decided to suspend future game sales of the PC version while we work to address these issues to satisfy our quality standards.  We greatly value our customers and know that while there are a significant amount of players who are enjoying the game on PC, we want to do whatever we can to make the experience better for PC players overall”. Rocksteady suggests requesting a refund through Steam, or wherever else you’ve purchased the game. This suspension shouldn't affect those who already own the game. It's unclear when the PC version of the game will be available for sale again. It’s nice to see WB and Rocksteady take responsibility for the PC version of the game. Unlike other developers that will let PC version stay released and over time patch. My example would be Grand Theft Auto V for PC. Some gamers (Including myself) are still having issues with the game and it was release in April of this year. How do you think WB and Rocksteady are handling the situation ?

GameFly Lauches GameFly Streaming

Today the video game rental company GameFly announced GameFly Streaming, a cloud based, Netflix like subscription program for games. GameFly also revealed today that it had acquired streaming service Playcast, whose technology will power GameFly Streaming. According to the companies report, GameFly's new streaming program will offer bundles of games for a fixed price, which will start at $7 a month. There are 6 bundles currently available, each containing 7 games focused around a particular theme. One bundle offers LEGO games, while another comes with adventure games such as Darksiders II and Batman Arkham titles. GameFly Streaming also offers a "gamer pack" that comes with 16 games for $10 a month. An interesting factor about GameFly Streaming is available only for Amazon Fire TV as of now. The Amazon Fire TV is only $100 were as a gaming console can cost up to $500 (if you include accessories) and a PC can cost even more then that. Does GameFly Streaming seem intestine to you ? Is this better tun buying a games console ?

Play As Batgirl For The First Time In Batman: Arkham Knight

The Batman: Arkham Knight season pass will cost $40 (there is also a $99 digital premium edition that includes the game and the season pass), and will add content to the game for 6 months following the release. It would include skins, challenge maps, and race tracks, and it hinted at story missions and additional villains. Now, we know exactly what will be included. The season pass will feature Batgirl: A Matter of Family and will let players play as Batgirl for the first time in a prequel campaign that will take place in an entirely new location. The Season of Infamy casts players as Batman with "legendary super-villains invading Gotham City, with new story arcs, missions and gameplay features." Gotham City Stories has players playing as an assortment of Batman's allies in story missions that take place before and after the events of Arkham Knight. You will also get to play with different Batmobiles from Batman's 75-year history on tracks themed to specific Batman eras. Finally, you will also gain access to assorted skins and challenge maps. Are you excited for Batman: Arkham Knight ?
