Nexon's Titanfall: Frontline has soft-launched on iOS in the Philippines. Android had a soft launch last week. Titanfall: Frontline is a card battler in which you assume the role of a brigade Commander facing off against players in real-time, PvP combat. A release date has yet to be announced, but it will likely release later this year on iOS and Android. If you want you can pre-register before the game launches globally you can receive the launch week award: the Prometheus Titan Card.
Respawn Entertainment and Nexon have partnered together to bring new original Titanfall games to iOS and Android in 2016. "Our partnership with Nexon is momentous for many reasons," Respawn CEO Vince Zampellasaid. "Nexon’s unrivaled publishing network and free-to-play expertise will allow Titanfall to reach new global audiences. And with Particle City, we are closely collaborating to create all-new standalone games with original gameplay experiences that expand the Titanfall universe to players everywhere." Nexon president and CEO Owen Mahoney also commented on the partnership, saying in a statement: "Working closely with our partners at Respawn and Particle City we intend to build on the original game’s success and introduce millions of mobile gamers to the rich Titanfall universe." It should be noted that this isn't the first time Nexon has been involved with the Titanfall franchise. Back in August, the company announced a partnership with EA to develop and publish a free-to-play PC version of Titanfall for the Asian market called Titanfall Online. Developer Respawn Entertainment with the help of Nexon Korea will bring Asia its own version of Titanfall. It's unknown at this time how this Asia only version of the game will differ from the current product. Its interesting though because Nexon specializes in free to play titles, so could this version of Titanfall be free to play ?
