Apex Legends Is A Battle Royale Game Set In The Titanfall Universe

Respawn Entertainment and EA have revealed Apex Legends, a free-to-play Battle Royale game set in the Titanfall universe. The game takes place 30 years after the events of Titanfall 2.

Apex Legends is a hero-focused take on the growing battle royale genre that pits squads of threes together, with each player taking on the role of a character imbued with special powers and tactics. The game is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Titanfall: Frontline Soft-Launches On iOS And Android

Nexon's Titanfall: Frontline has soft-launched on iOS in the Philippines. Android had a soft launch last week. Titanfall: Frontline is a card battler in which you assume the role of a brigade Commander facing off against players in real-time, PvP combat. A release date has yet to be announced, but it will likely release later this year on iOS and Android. If you want you can pre-register before the game launches globally you can receive the launch week award: the Prometheus Titan Card.

Angel City Returning In Titanfall 2

Respawn Entertainment has announced via its Twitter account that the iconic map Angel City for Titanfall will be returning in Titanfall 2 for free. Also those who preorder the game will get early access to the map. Titanfall 2 will be released on October 28 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. 

Titanfall 2 Gets A Teaser Trailer

Respawn Entertainment has released a teaser trailer for Titanfall 2. The trailer doesn't reveal much, but does reveal that the mechs in the game can now use swords. (You had me at hello) The teaser also reveals that the game will be coming to PlayStation 4 as well as Xbox One and PC. Electronic Arts says that the game will be at its EA Play event, with more info on Sunday, June 12 at 1pm PT. 

Titanfall Games Are Coming To iOS And Android In 2016

Respawn Entertainment and Nexon have partnered together to bring new original Titanfall games to iOS and Android in 2016. "Our partnership with Nexon is momentous for many reasons," Respawn CEO Vince Zampellasaid. "Nexon’s unrivaled publishing network and free-to-play expertise will allow Titanfall to reach new global audiences. And with Particle City, we are closely collaborating to create all-new standalone games with original gameplay experiences that expand the Titanfall universe to players everywhere." Nexon president and CEO Owen Mahoney also commented on the partnership, saying in a statement: "Working closely with our partners at Respawn and Particle City we intend to build on the original game’s success and introduce millions of mobile gamers to the rich Titanfall universe." It should be noted that this isn't the first time Nexon has been involved with the Titanfall franchise. Back in August, the company announced a partnership with EA to develop and publish a free-to-play PC version of Titanfall for the Asian market called Titanfall Online. Asia Will Get Its Own Version Of Titanfall

Developer Respawn Entertainment with the help of Nexon Korea will bring Asia its own version of Titanfall. It's unknown at this time how this Asia only version of the game will differ from the current product. Its interesting though because Nexon specializes in free to play titles, so could this version of Titanfall be free to play ? 

Expect Titanfall 2 To Come Out Sometime After April 2016

During its year end earnings call, EA addressed a question about the next Titanfall. When asked about whether the title might land in the current fiscal year (ending March 31, 2015), EA suggested a later release. In terms of Titanfall, you should expect that's not in fiscal 2016, It's more likely in fiscal 2017.

Every Titanfall DLC Is Now Free For Xbox One, Xbox 360 And PC

EA and Respawn have dropped the price on the Titanfall season pass and DLC. You can now get all of the add on content for the very low price of free. Whether you access the store from the Xbox website or from your console, you’ll be able to download the content. As for the PC you can download the DLC from Origin. We don’t know how long this will last so download the DLC while you can. UPDATE 3/13/15 - Reports have come out that the Titanfall DLC is free FOREVER.

EA is offering u 7 days of free play, though that clock begins when you launch the game and continues whether you're playing or not.
