Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Wins Fan Vote To Be The 9th Fighting Game At EVO

The 9th and fan voted fighting game and for the EVO 2017 fighting game tournament has been selected and it's Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. The game won the chance to be featured as part of the tournament by charity donations. Fans donated money to the game they wanted to see played at EVO between the choices of Mortal Combat XL, Skullgirls, Pokkén Tournament, Killer Instinct Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Arms, Windjammers, Nidhogg, and of course, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 raised just under $72,000 with Pokkén coming up in second place with around $67,000. The PlayStation 4 version of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be used in the tournament.

Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 For Xbox One/PC Gets A Release Date

Capcom has announced that Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 for Xbox One and PC is releasing on March 7th. Along with the digital release for $24.99, you can pick up a limited physical edition of the game on PS4 or Xbox One for $29.99. The limited physical edition comes with updated cover art and an exclusive comic from Marvel's Sean Chen and Gerardo Sandoval.

Here’s The Line-Up For EVO 2016

Yesterday on the Redbulleposrts Twitch page, The line-up for the fighting game tournament EVO was revealed. The tournament will feature Street Fighter 5, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Killer Instinct, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator, Mortal Kombat X and Pokken Tournament. The event will take place on July 15 to July 17 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and will be streamed on Twitch. 

Download Marvel Vs. Capcom Origins While You Still Can

Marvel vs. Capcom Origins will soon be no longer available to purchase on the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. The game will be available on PSN until December 23 in the United States and Europe, and on Xbox Live until December 31. Marvel vs. Capcom Origins is a collection of the ‘90s arcade classics Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom. This isn’t the first time Marvel related video games have been delisted from various digital download services. In January, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 were pulled due to expiring licenses.
