Here’s The Line-Up For EVO 2016

Yesterday on the Redbulleposrts Twitch page, The line-up for the fighting game tournament EVO was revealed. The tournament will feature Street Fighter 5, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Killer Instinct, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator, Mortal Kombat X and Pokken Tournament. The event will take place on July 15 to July 17 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and will be streamed on Twitch. 

Mewtwo And Lucas To Join The Fight In Super Smash Bros.

During Nintendo’s Nintendo Direct yesterday Nintendo announced that Mewtwo is coming to both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game on April 28 for $3.99. If you want to purchase Mewtwo for both version of the game, you can get him for just $4.99. Club Nintendo members who have purchased and registered both versions of the game before March 31 will get a free download code of Mewtwo on April 15. Nintendo also announced that Lucas will be making his return to the Super Smash Bros. series through downloadable content on both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game. Lucas, who originally appeared in the Mother series, made his Smash Bros. debut in Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Wii. Lucas is scheduled to debut sometime in June. Super Smash Bros. Gets A New Release Date In Europe

Nintendo has announced that they will release Super Smash Bros. for Wii U earlier than expected in Europe. Previously the game was set to release in Europe on December 5, but Nintendo has pulled that forward a week, with the new release date set as November 28. Nintendo has also confirmed that it has moved the release date of its custom Smash Bros GameCube controller, and the Amiibo bundle to match the new Europe release date.

Super Smash Bros. For Wii U Will Support 8 Players At Once

During the Super Smash Bros. Nintendo Direct the other day, Nintendo announced that Super Smash Bros. For Wii U will allow up to 8 players to play at the same time in one match. Super Smash Bros. For Wii U will be released on November 21 in North America December 5th for Europe and December 6th for Japan and Australia.

Super Smash Bros. Wii U Nintendo Direct Coming Later In The Week

A Nintendo Direct specifically for Super Smash Bros. Wii U will take place on October 23 at 6 PM ET/ 3 PM PT / 11 PM GMT. The live stream is said to focus on 50 must see things along with new info on characters. Super Smash Bros. Wii U Comes out on November 21 for Wii U.

Wii U GameCube Adapter Will Only Work With Super Smash Bros.

Nintendo has clarified that the GameCube controller adapter for Wii U will only be compatible for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The GameCube controller adapter will ship alongside Super Smash Bros. for Wii U when the game is released on November 21 in the US and December 5 in the Europe. It allows players to connect up to four GameCube or WaveBird controllers to the console.

Nintendo recently announced that Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will be available in North America on November 21, Europe on December 5 and December 6 for Australia.

Super Smash Bros. 3DS Hits One Million Sales In Japan

Super Smash Bros. 3DS is already available in Japan and has sold 1 million copies in two days. Nintendo has said that both digital and retail sales are counted in the 1 million sold. Other 3DS games to hit 1 million sales so quickly in Nintendo's homeland are Monster Hunter 4, Pokemon X and Y. Super Smash Bros. 3DS releases for US and Europe on October 3th.
