Arc System Works Announces Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator 2 + 2 New Characters

During this year's Arc System Works Fighting Game Award event, Guilty Gear: Xrd: Revelator 2 was announced.

The update will add 2 new characters, Answer and Baiken. "Business Ninja" Answer is a previously unplayable character who appeared the Xrd's story mode, while Baiken is a returning character who wields a Katana while wearing an eyepatch. Both will receive their own episodes in the story mode, as will Jam, Raven, Kum, and Dizzy, who were previously added in the first Revelator update for Xrd. 

Revelator 2 will offer a host of balance changes. The update will release in Japanese arcades in Spring 2017, but will come to the West on consoles eventually.

Dizzy will be being added to the roster in Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator. Dizzy is available as a free download for a limited time as of today alongside patch 1.03, which will focus on rebalancing characters. You can watch her trailer below.

6 Fighting Games And WWE 2K15 Are Now On PlayStation Now

Sony's cloud gaming service, PlayStation Now is now offering these fighting and wrestling games. The full list of games coming to the service this month is listed below.

Raven Joins The Roster For Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator

Arc System Works has announced that Raven is joining the roster of Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator. Raven was first introduced as a non-playable character in Guilty Gear X and has made some appearances in the series, and as a boss in Guilty Gear 2: Overture. Other new characters joining in Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator include Jack-O, Jam Kuradoberi, Johnny Sfondi, Kum Haehyun, and Dizzy. Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator will release for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan on May 27, June 7 in North America and  June 10 in Europe. 

Here’s The Line-Up For EVO 2016

Yesterday on the Redbulleposrts Twitch page, The line-up for the fighting game tournament EVO was revealed. The tournament will feature Street Fighter 5, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Killer Instinct, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator, Mortal Kombat X and Pokken Tournament. The event will take place on July 15 to July 17 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and will be streamed on Twitch. 

Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator Gets A Release Date For North America

Arc System Works has previously announced that Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator will launch on May 26 for Japan. No they have announced that the game will come to North America on June 7. There is no word on when the title is expected to arrive in PAL territories or for PC.
