Bethesda Officially Announces Rage 2

After Wal-Mart screwed the pooch with the “leak” of E3 titles, Bethesda has officially revealed Rage 2. The first trailer for the game is now live, with a gameplay reveal coming tomorrow. 

Bethesda Has Some Fun With Rage 2 Leak On Twitter

If you were hoping for some surprises at E3 from Bethesda, then Was-Mart may have ruined that for you. The company however, is taking it pretty well. With Rage 2 possibly on the horizon, the official Rage Twitter account (which has been dormant since 2011) decided to have some fun with Wal-Mart's supposed leak. In a tweet with various pictures, the account poked holes in the barebones placeholder listing by pointing out all the things that are wrong with it an extremely pedantic fashion. Bethesda's E3 showcase takes place on Sunday June 10 at 6:30 PM PT.

Rage 2, Just Cause 4, Gears Of War 5 & More Appear For Pre-Order

A bunch of new, announced and unannounced titles have recently appeared on Walmart.com offering hints at upcoming reveals at E3 2018. When retailers put SKUs up for games we can assume it will be coming soon, so it is fair to say that these listings should be looked at with skepticism. You can find them here.

It's possible that Walmart may be posting these listings just to have pre-order SKUs ready without any inside knowledge, but there are enough confirmed games alongside the surprises to add some credibility to the listings.

Here’s What Walmart Has Planned For Cyber Monday

Walmart has announced its Cyber Monday deals. One of the deals includes the Gears of War Ultimate Edition Xbox One bundle with an extra controller for $300. Another deal is the Star Wars Battlefront PS4 bundle with an extra controller and headset for $400. All of Walmart’s Cyber Monday deals will start at 8 PM EST on Sunday, November 29. Walmart Has Some Pretty Good Black Friday Deals

A user on Neogaf has posted ads for what we can see from Walmart on Black Friday. Some note worthy deals include Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PS4 and Gears of War Ultimate EditionXbox One bundles for $300 along with PS4 and Xbox One controllers for $40. You can also pick up a Wii U bundle with Super Smash Bros. and Splatoon for $250, while you can buy a New Nintendo 3DS XL in a bundle that includes Super Mario 3D Land for $130. I should also note that the Black Friday ads reveal that the Modern color Super Mario 30th Anniversary Amiibo will release on Black Friday and be a Walmart Exclusive.  Walmart’s Black Friday sale starts at 6 PM local time on Thanksgiving Day in stores and at 12:01 AM on Friday, November 27. Walmart To Compete With Amazons Prime Day

Soon Amazon will have a new sale period called Prime Day that the online retailer claim’s would offer more deals than Black Friday. The one catch, however, is that promo was only for subscribers to Amazon's Prime service. Now, Walmart has responded with its own deals while taking shots at Amazon. ”We've heard some retailers are charging $100 to get access to a sale," reads a statement from Walmart.com CEO Fernando Madeira. "But the idea of asking customers to pay extra in order to save money just doesn't add up for us." "We're standing up for our customers and everyone else who sees no rhyme or reason for paying a premium to save." Walmart will roll out special deals "with no hidden costs or admission fees" unlike Amazon's Prime Day, which will be held for one day only on July 15 to mark the retailer's 20th anniversary, Walmart's sale period will run for multiple days. "Our customers will see thousands of great deals on Rollback beginning this week along with some special atomic deals.” ”In addition, we're rolling back our free shipping minimum order to $35 from $50." Walmart did not say what items will be discounted, but I wouldn’t be surprised if video games, consoles, computers and phones will be discounted. What do you think ?

Looks like Nintendo will release a gold Mario Amiibo later this year alongside Mario Party 10, according to a leaked posted from Walmart. Mario Party 10 launches March 20. This isn't the first time we've heard about a special edition Mario Amiibo variant. In fact, gold and silver Mario Amiibo were spotted on Nintendo’s website. What do you think of a gold Amiibo? People Purchased PlayStation 4’s For Cheap At Wal-Mart Due To Price Match

Some WalMart shoppers have taking advantage of Walmart's new price-matching system to buy PlayStation 4’s. Amazon had a system glitch that listed the PlayStation 4 for $100. As Amazon was fast to fix the glitch, those who saw the listing were faster and took a screenshot of the listing. Then the people will the screenshot would go to Walmart to match the price and get a PlayStation 4 for cheap. Some have done this successfully as there are many twitter users showing that they were able to get PlayStaion 4’s from Walmart for cheap. Shortly after this Walmart realize the error and stopped matching the price.

Wal-Mart Will Sell Used Games Soon

Staring on November 3 Walmart will begin selling pre-owned games on November 3 in 1,700 stores across the U.S. Wal-Mart shoppers were able to trade in used games at Walmart from March 26 in return for a credit voucher that could be used in any Walmart or Sam's Club both in store and online. The program does not currently offer the option of receiving cash for game trade-ins, nor accept video game hardware.
