The free-to-play battle royale game Call of Duty: Warzone will soon get a mobile version. Following the release of Call of Duty: Mobile in 2019, the forthcoming Warzone will be the second CoD title converted for mobile. Season 2 of Warzone, which was published last month, is most likely still being enjoyed by fans. The new mobile game's release date has yet to be revealed, however games journalist Tom Henderson did remark that the title has already been posted to Playtest Cloud, a mobile game testing site.
Fans of mobile games may expect to see more from the Activision universe in the future. Diablo Immortal's mobile version is currently under development and is scheduled to be released later this year. Microsoft's proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard, which is slated to be completed in fiscal year 2023, would give it ownership of Activision's massively profitable mobile gaming company.

A Call of Duty community update has provided fans a first glimpse at Season 2 of Warzone and upcoming bigger releases. Specifically, the fall-themed yearly title, which has been revealed to be the long-rumored sequel to 2019's Modern Warfare remake.
The future sequel, as well as a new Warzone experience, will be built jointly utilizing a new engine "from the ground up," according to the blog post. Yes, Warzone is getting a successor, which will be a "massive evolution of Battle Royale" with a new battleground and sandbox mode, according to the article. Both games are being developed by Infinity Ward.
Season Two of Call of Duty: Vanguard/Warzone is now availale. T here are over 30 updates planned, including:
Improvements in all forms of movement: vehicle handling, parachutes deploying at a lower vertical height, increased player mantle height, and collision fixes for both vehicles and players.
The Gas Mask animation no longer interrupting Operators who aim down sights.
When inserting Armor Plates, it refills a full plate of armor before filling damaged ones.
Performance and streaming issues, including Buy Station freezes, voice chat connectivity, and distorted graphics, across all platforms.
Specific Operator skins being invisible at certain distances.
Blockages to Modern Warfare Multiplayer, which is tied to Warzone’s launcher.
The release of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 2 has been delayed. Season 2 will now premiere on February 14, two weeks later than originally planned. The reason for this is to give Sledgehammer Games and the other teams behind Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific more time to fix bugs.
“We feel your frustrations and hear you loud and clear,” a Call of Duty blog post reads. “To date, we’ve deployed a number of dates, but more needs to be done. For this reason, we have decided to reschedule the start of Season Two across Warzone Pacific and Vanguard to February 14. We will use this additional development time to deliver updates, including optimizations to gameplay, game balancing (including weapon and equipment balancing), to fix game stability and bugs, and to ensure an overall level of polish to improve the experience for players across Vanguard, Warzone Pacific, Black Ops Cold War, and Modern Warfare.”
“Going forward, you can expect to hear from us more often regarding Call of Duty’s state of play,” the blog reads. “Studios remain focused on continuously improving your game experience, and we greatly value our community feedback. More frequent and detailed communication updates will be posted here and across Call of Duty social channels.”
The Attack on Titan anime series is coming to an end, and Activision wants to cash in on its popularity. Ten Attack on Titan equipment will be added to Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific as part of a bundle that will be released on January 20th. The centerpiece is a Survey Corps costume based on Survey Corps Captain Levi Ackerman, but you'll also get three weapon blueprints (including the Titan Piercer blade), a charm, sticker, insignia, finishing move, and highlight material.
A new character (Isabella Rosario Dulnuan Reyes), her favored submachine gun, and additions to both gameplay and goods in Vanguard's Zombies mode are among the next season improvements. The appropriate updates for Attack on Titan content will be released a week ahead of schedule, on January 12th at midnight Eastern time for Vanguard and January 13th for Warzone.
The new Pacific-themed map for Call of Duty Warzone, officially known as Caldera, will launch on December 2. However, anyone that owns Call of Duty: Vanguard, which releases November 5, before the launch of Season 1 on December 2, will get 24 hours of early access to the new map. Verdansk will no longer b playable on December 1, but those who didn't purchase Vanguard and want to play Warzone specifically on that day will still be able to, they’ll just be launched into Rebirth Island, instead of Caldera.
Activision Blizzard has detailed what you can expect to find on Caldera when it hits Warzone for everyone on December 2.
“Lush forests and rocky crags. White sand beaches and mysterious ruins. A dormant volcano that towers over the 200-plus points of interest,” a Call of Duty blog post reads. “A map roughly the size of Verdansk, which it will replace as part of the [Season 1] update, this new map is based on two years of research and listening to the community.”
Activision Blizzard says your progression from Verdansk will carry over as well, including operators, calling cards, weapons, and more.
Activision's latest addition to Call of Duty: Warzone is an objective-based mode called Payload. In a first for the game, the mission will be added to the rotating playlists as part of Season Four Reloaded (which is available now).
Payload splits players in two teams of 20 that are tasked with either escorting or attacking vehicles transporting satellite parts. Each team must complete their objective within time limit.
Activision has revealed that Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone has been delayed by one week.
The official Call of Duty blog states the team needs a bit more time to prepare Season 1’s launch, so it will move from December 10th to December 16th. Warzone is getting a new map, a revamped Gulag experience, as well as over 30 weapons from Black Ops Cold War.
Black Ops Cold War will also receive new multiplayer maps, more 6v6 modes/playlists, the return of 2v2 Gunfights (with four new maps), new Zombies modes, and the return of the Raid map from Call of Duty: Black Ops II. On top of all of that, expect free weapons, season challenges, and the launch of the 1000-level cross-title Seasonal Prestige system.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 5 begins on August 5, with it comes a new band of mercenaries - The Shadow Company. Maybe the group is just new skins, it remains to be seen. Check out the Shadow Company reveal trailer below.
For a limited-timein Call of Duty: Warzone, the BR mode ups the stakes, with more players than ever before. Starting now during Season 4, players can suit up with up to 199 other players in Call of Duty's battle royale experience.
The 200-player mode is limited to quads, so this means up to 50 teams battling it out for that sweet victory. Enjoy the mode while you can, it probably won’t be around for long.

Activision has announced Call of Duty: Warzone, a new free-to-play battle royale game that delivers massive 150-player battles. Call of Duty: Warzone launches tomorrow (March 10th) at 8 A.M. PDT on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Here’s everything you need to know.
Modes
Players can jump into two different modes: Battle Royale, which is exactly as you would expect with a gas cloud slowly grouping everyone together until only one team is left standing, and Plunder, a new style of play that pushes teams to collect as much cash as they can before the match ends. To earn money in Plunder, you can sneak off on your own and loot to your heart's content, complete in-match contracts, and hunt down other players and steal the hauls they've gathered.
Maps
Players drop into Verdansk, a thriving city/battlefield that has over 300 points of interest. These locations include Gora Dam and Gorengard Lumberyard. Verdansk is a sprawling coastal city that just happens to be set at the foot of a giant mountain. Sections of the map offer long sight lines, and other areas push players to use close-quarters tactics to dart in and out of buildings.
Vehicles
Vehicles are scattered everywhere. In Warzone, players can hop onto an ATV, Tactical Rover, SUV and helicopter to terrain the map.
