Uncharted Skins Are Coming To Fortnite

Nathan Drake, the protagonist of the Uncharted franchise, is on his way to Fortnite. Epic Games has yet to make a formal announcement about the crossover, but an unlisted video on the battle royale's official YouTube channel has all of the pertinent information. Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer clothing will arrive in Fortnite's Item Shop on February 17th, one day before the Uncharted film releases in US theaters.

You can play as either the film versions of those characters or their Uncharted 4: A Thief's End equivalents using those skins. For those keeping count, this means Tom Holland will feature in Fortnite for the second time, after the addition of skins from Spider-Man: No Way Home last year.

Uncharted And The Last Of Us Multiplayer For PS3 Are Going Offline In September

It’s the end of an era, on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET, the multiplayer servers for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, The Last of Us, and The Last of Us: Left Behind are going offline on the PS3.

Naughty Dog is giving the PS3 multiplayer a nice send-off by making all the DLC for the games free until the official shutdown. The free multiplayer DLC bundles are currently up for grabs on the PlayStation Store. Me and my friends had a blast in Uncharted 2 and The Last of Us multiplayer, might have to play one last game for old times sake. Thoughts ?

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Likely Won’t Be The Last Uncharted Game

In an interview with Eurogamer, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy creative director and writer Shaun Escayg said that "to say the Uncharted world is done... I doubt that highly." The upcoming standalone game features returning side characters from the series. Escayg seems to see that approach as a useful one for the future of the series:
"I wouldn't say it's the end. This thieving world is huge. There's so many characters. Even before we settled on [Lost Legacy's] story we were exploring Sullivan, we were exploring Cutter, and pairing each other up, thinking what would be right, what would have conflict, growth, something new, something fresh. And Chloe was the one that kept jumping out."

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy releases on August 22 for PS4.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Might Be 10 Hours Long

In a recent interview with IBTimes, Naughty Dog director of communications Arne Mayer explained that the studio had been asked whether it would make a single-player expansion for Uncharted before, but always felt the impulse to make a full-length game:
"There's no way we could, sort of, constrict and restrain ourselves," said Mayer, "and that's exactly what was happening here. When we were doing story pitches, we were coming up with a game that would be over ten hours long and so we suddenly realized everything we said was true and we couldn't keep it short."

It seems more than likely that The Lost Legacy will be more substantial than Naughty Dog's last story expansion as The Lost Legacy is said to be around 10 hours. In comparison, The Last of Us: Left Behind was around 2-3 hours. Thoughts ?

Uncharted 4’s Multiplayer DLC Will Be Free

You can purchase Uncharted points with real money that can be used to get more chests, but thats up to you. More will be added starting this summer. There will be 2 multiplayer DLC add-ons along with a single-player expansion. This will be the first for the Uncharted series. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Delayed Again And Multiplayer Stress Test

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has once again been delayed (sigh). Sony and Naughty Dog have delayed the game 2 weeks to May 10, 2016. On PlayStation Blog, PlayStation's Shawn Layden said in a post, "In an effort to meet the considerable worldwide demand, and to ensure that all gamers worldwide have the opportunity to play the game on day one, we have chosen to postpone the launch of the game by two weeks to allow for extra manufacturing time." "We know this news might be disappointing, and we are sorry to have to make you wait a little longer to play Naughty Dog’s latest. The good news is that the game is phenomenal, we are fully confident that it will be worth the wait and the team at Naughty Dog is eager as ever for you to experience Nathan Drake’s final adventure."

In other news, an Uncharted 4 multiplayer stress test is coming this weekend. The stress test will take place from March 4 9AM PT until March 6 11:59PM PT. The best part of this test is that PlayStation Plus is not required. I know its only 2 weeks but all these delays are starting to get to me. But I rather have another delay then a broken game. What do you think of Uncharted 4 getting delayed again ?

Uncharted 4 Delayed Into April

Sony and Naughty Dog have announced another delay for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. The game will now release on April 26. This delay pushes the game back 5 weeks for its previous release date. Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley had this to say about that delay, “As we approached our final deadlines and started wrapping up the game’s levels, we realized that several key sequences needed extra resources to bring them to the finish line.” Sony and Naughty Dog know what they're doing. If this delay means we get to have the best possible version of Uncharted 4 then so be it. I will gladly wait, I feel like more developers should have this mentality. What do you think ?
