Samsung Hosting An Unpacked Event On April 28th

Samsung has sent out invites to another Galaxy Unpacked this month, making it the fourth Samsung event this year. This event will be streamed live on Samsung.com on April 28th at 10AM ET, and the invite teases that "the most powerful Galaxy is coming."

Samsung Teased The Samsung Gear S2

Today at their Unpacked event, Samsung showed off a new Gear S2 smartwatch. This watch has a unique round watch face, metal body and new user interface. All that was seen was a quick glimpse of the watch face, but Samsung promised the Gear S2 would get a full reveal at IFA next month in Berlin. Samsung Pay Hits The U.S. On September 28

Today at their Unpacked event, Samsung has unveiled there mobile payment solution Samsung Pay, which will be available on the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+. Samsung Pay will offer NFC payments just like Apple Pay, the real different feature is its ability to mimic traditional magnetic card swipes. That means it should be compatible with the majority of stores with standard credit card readers. A beta test for Samsung Pay will kick off in the US this month. Samsung Pay goes into full affect on September 28.

UPDATE 9/28/16 - To celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Samsung Pay, Samsung has added coupons to the mobile payment service. 

Samsung Gives The Galaxy Note 5 A Keyboard Cover

Today at their Unpacked event, Samsung has unveiled a Keyboard Cover for the Galaxy Note 5 that gives you both a cover and a physical keyboard for those who prefer one. There are navigation buttons to replace the capacitive ones you will lose with the case on. Pricing is not known at this time, we will updated when we know more. What do you think of this cover ?
