PlayStation Plus Games For June 2020

The PlayStation Plus titles for June have been announced, Call of Duty: WWII is available to download now and Star Wars Battlefront II will be available to download on June 1 until July 6. Here’s the full list of games:

Call of Duty: WWII Is One Of The Free PlayStation Plus Games For June 2020

Sony has revealed that one of PlayStation Plus’ free games for the month of June has been announced. It’s none other than Call of Duty: WWII and it’s available to download now. PlayStation added that they’ll share additional details about June’s free games lineup later this week. 

PS Plus members: Call of Duty: WWII is part of the monthly games lineup for June, and will be available for download starting May 26.

Call of Duty: WWII DLC 3, United Front Announced

Activision has announced Call of Duty: WWII's third DLC, United Front. The DLC features three new multiplayer maps, a new War Mode mission, and a new Zombies chapter. The new maps are Market Garden which takes place in the European Theatre, the war-torn village of Monte Cassino, and Stalingrad. The new War Mode mission is called Operation Supercharge and has the Allies airdrop into Tunisia to take back a Nazi-occupied village. Not much is known about the zombies mode as it wasn’t included in the trailer. Players will have to capture supplies, detonate a key transport bridge, and capture entrenched Axis fortifications. The add-on content will come first to the PS4 on June 26.

Call Of Duty: WWII War Machine DLC Announced

Call of Duty: World War II’s second DLC pack has been announced, and it’s launching first on PlayStation 4 on April 10. War Machine takes Call of Duty: WWII to new areas, such as the Giza pyramids, a hidden German rocket facility, and the city of Dunkirk. The maps appeal to different playstyles, with the pyramids being exploratory with internal areas to traverse. The V-2 rocket facility is aiming for fast-paced gameplay with constant skirmishes. Players in the French city of Dunkirk will find snipers rule the roost over the open beach.Players can also engage in aerial dogfighting for the first time in the game and a new chapter in the game's zombie mode. War Machine will arrive on Xbox One and PC later at an unspecified date a month later.

Shamrock & Awe Comes To Call of Duty: WWII

Call of Duty: WWII gets a new season event with  Operation: Shamrock & Awe, which runs until April 3. The limited-time event will feature exclusive cosmetics with new uniforms and camos, but a brand new cosmetic called charms have made their debut.All players will have the chance to earn the M-31 (submachine gun) and MG 81 (light machine gun) through accepting contracts. In addition, the smallest map is COD history, Shipment from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has been reintroduced as Shipment: 1944. The map is currently available for season pass owners and will be available to everyone on March 16. There are also a slew of standard reticles, camos, charms, uniforms, weapon variants, and emotes that have been implemented permanently.

Gun Game And Prop Hunt Are Now Permanently In Call of Duty: WWII

Sledgehammer Games has announced the two party modes Gun Game and Prop Hunt will be permanently added to the game. They will be in the Featured playlist of modes for good.

Call of Duty: WWII Limited-Time Event, The Resistance, Starts Tomorrow

Activision has announced a time-limited event for Call of Duty: WWII titled The Resistance. The event begins on January 23 and lasts until February 27. The Resistance brings a new Division to the game, also called the Resistance, which provides a new player class to the game with its own class-specific skills and perks and a focus on close-range combat. The event reintroduces Prop Hunt to Call of Duty, a hide-and-seek mode where a player takes the form of an in-game object and does their best to blend in without being found. It also brings back Demolition. Players can also receive the Orso SMG, combat knife, and Volkssturmgewehr assault rifle through completing Orders. The event ends just ahead of the game's first DLC pack, also called The Resistance, which launches on PlayStation 4 on January 30. It includes new maps for War Mode, Zombies, and three maps for multiplayer. The DLC will come to Xbox One and PC a month later.

Call Of Duty: World War II’s Micro-Transactions Delayed

Activision has announced a delay for Call of Duty: WWII’s micro-transaction system, which has been pushed until next week. The system allows players to purchase sums of Call of Duty: WWII’s in-game currency (COD Points), which can be exchanged for what the series calls Supply Drops (loot boxes).

No specific reason for the delay was discussed, though Call of Duty: WWII’s multiplayer has been pledged with a variety of problems since its launch, which developer Sledgehammer Games acknowledged in a post on its website over the weekend.

“We’re seeing millions of fans play every day,” said the studio in its statement. “However, we also know we’ve had issues, there’s frustration. We recognize that and we hear you.” “Our highest priority is to deliver the best online experience possible. We’re not there yet, and we won’t rest until we are.”

As an update to an earlier announcement, the COD Points live date has been shifted to November 21. As a digital edition owner, your bonus of 1,100 CP will be awarded at that time. Thank you for your patience.

Call Of Duty: WWII Makes $500 Million In Sales During Opening Weekend

Activision has announced that the recently released Call of Duty: WWII has done extremely well in its first three days on sale. In the time the game's global sales have doubled that of the previous Call of Duty title Infinite Warfare, to the tune of $500 million in sales.

Call Of Duty: WWII First Map Pack Gets A Release Date

During Sony’s Paris Games Week Press Conference, Activision showed off a new trailer for Call of Duty: WWII. At the end of the trailer, it was announced that  the first map pack, titled The Resistance, will be available as of January 30, first on PlayStation 4. It will come to other platforms at a later date. Call of Duty WWII releases on November 3 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. 

Call of Duty: WWII Multiplayer PC Beta Launches At The End Of September

The PC beta for Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer will launch as an open beta on Steam from September 29 through October 2. As with all PC betas, there are some minimum specs to be able to enter, these are the following requirements:

RAM: 8 GB RAM
HDD: 25 GB HD space

Call Of Duty: WWII Getting A Limited Edition PS4 Bundle

Sony and Activision are teaming up for a limited-edition Call of Duty: WWII PS4 bundle. The bundle features a camo-covered 1TB system and green controller, and also comes with a standard edition of the game. It launches when Call of Duty: WWII comes out on November 3 for $299.99.

Activision And Comcast Teaming Up For Customers To Have Access To Call Of Duty: WWII Beta

Activision and Comcast are teaming up for Xfinity Internet customers to access the Call of Duty: WWII private multiplayer beta starting on August 25 when it opens on PS4. The Xbox One beta follows on September 1. Comcast customers have to visit xfinity.com/callofduty between now and August 31 and enter their Comcast account number. They'll get an access code with further instructions. The beta ends on August 28 for PS4 and then goes from September 1 through September 4 for both PS4 and Xbox One.
