Crypt Of The Necrodancer Follow Up Features Link And Zelda Titled Cadence of Hyrule

The Developer behind The Crypt of the Necrodancer, Brace Yourself Games, has announced the follow-up title for the Nintendo Switch. It is called Cadence of Hyrule and stars both Link and Princess Zelda and is set to be released this spring. Check out the video in the tweet below!

The Legend Of Zelda: BOTW DLC Details, Release Date, Amiibo And More

During Nintendo’s E3 spotlight, it was announced that The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild DLC is called “The Master Trails” and will be arriving on June 30, 2017. This includes a Hero’s Path Mode, Trial of the Sword, new armor being added to the game and also a brand new Korok Mask. We will keep you posted with details on the DLC as it arrives. Also announced was that the second DLC for the game is called “The Champions Ballad”. It will feature Mipha, Urbos, Daruk and Revali. The champions will also be available in amiibo form. The Champions Ballad and the new amiibo will be released in Holiday 2017. 

Skyrim On The Switch Getting Nintendo Themed Items

During Bethesda’s E3 press conference, the publisher revealed Switch players will be able to access a bunch of Nintendo-themed weapons and gear in Skyrim on Nintendo Switch. You’ll be able to use such items as Link’s classic green tunic and the Master sword. Using Amiibos with the switch version of Skyrim gives you special items in a classic Zelda chest, and you can use the Joy Con motion controls to swing your sword. Unfortunately there’s still no date announced for the Nintendo Switch version of Skyrim. As far was we know it’s expected to launch in Fall 2017. Check out the Skyrim trailer below.

Nintendo Is Rumored To Be Developing A Zelda Mobile Game

According to The Wall Street Journal, Nintendo is working on The Legend of Zelda for smartphones and tablets. Link’s adventure will follow Animal Crossing which launches later this year. The Zelda title will arrive in 2018 and it’s not clear whether Nintendo will take the paid route like Super Mario Run or alternatively make the game free-to-play with micro transactions like Fire Emblem Heroes. Nintendo of America has released another screenshot from the long-awaited The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The latest screenshot shows a rather cold Link by his campfire amongst a snowy backdrop. It does look very atmospheric, check it out below. 

Here’s How The Legend of Zelda 30th Anniversary Amiibos Will Work In Breath Of The Wild

An official Tumblr post by Nintendo, gives us more details on the Legend of Zelda 30th Anniversary amiibo, which are now available. They said that “each will offer random items you can use in the  game when used with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.  Legend has it, you may even receive a  treasure chest with a rare item if you’re lucky?! 8-bit Link will reward you with a random number of barrels. You might find rupees inside too! Ocarina  of Time Link will reward you with a random amount of meat. Toon  Link will reward you with a random amount of fish. Wind Waker Zelda will reward you with a random selection of plants.”

Here’s What Amiibo’s Will Do In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD

Nintendo has finally reveal more about the HD version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Wii U. If you scan in the Wolf Link amiibo you’ll be able to play through a new dungeon titled “Thorough Battle: Trial of the Beast” which is presumably the same dungeon as the recently announced Twilight Cave. If you manage to make your way through the additional dungeon then you will obtain a wallet titled the “Bottomless Wallet” which can hold 9,999 Rupees. As was previously mentioned you can use existing Zelda amiibo with the game: 

• Link and Toon Link fully replenish arrows
• Zelda and Sheik completely restore hearts
• Ganondorf will make the game harder as you’ll receive twice as much damage from enemies.

You can also use the Wolf Link amiibo to transfer some data from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess across to the new Legend of Zelda which is coming to Wii U sometime later this year.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Is Coming To Wii U In Early 2016

During todays Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo officially announced The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for the Wii U. The game will feature enhanced visuals, as well as Amiibo functionality with a brand new Wolf Link Amiibo. The game will also have Amiibo functionality with the other Zelda character amigos. (Link, Toon Link, Ganon, Zelda and Sheik)

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will release on March 4, 2016 for Wii U. The game will be released in a bundle wilt the Wolf Link amiibo. Even though this was leaked awhile back its differently nice to see this game get the HD treatment, special since its have to find the gamecube version of the game. The Legend Of Zelda For Wii U Delayed Out Of 2015

If you haven’t heard the bad news, one of the biggest release of 2015 isn’t going to be released in 2015 anymore. Producer Eiji Aonuma says The Legend Of Zelda For Wii U will not make its planned release before the end of the year. Also The Legend of Zelda will not be shown at E3 this year. What does this mean for Nintendo ? 

Nintendo Reveals The Top Selling Amiibo’s

During today's investor briefing, Nintendo revealed which characters have been the best selling in its popular Amiibo lineup. While Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, and Marth were perhaps the most sought after, it was Link, Mario, and Pikachu who sold the most units in North America. Link has also been the most popular Amiibo in Japan and Europe, while Mario holds the number 1 spot  in Australia. According to Nintendo, the United States and Canada have made up 63% of all Amiibo sales. You can check out the full top 10 below.

Get Skull Kid With The Majora’s Mask 3D Collectors Edition

Nintendo has announced a special limited edition for The Legend of Zelda: Major’s Mask 3D. In addition to the game, collectors can bring home a statuette of the Skull Kid. This bundle will retail for $49.99 and will be released alongside the standard edition. No release date has yet been revealed for the game  except that will be released sometime in the spring.

Mario Kart 8 DLC Set To Come Out In November

Mario Kart 8’s first DLC pack will release on November 13. This pack includes new characters Link, Cat Peach and Tanooki Mario. The pack also adds 8 new tracks, a Legend of Zelda themed track called Hyrule Circuit, F-Zero’s Mute City and a stage featuring the Excitebike series. The Legend Of Zelda : Majora’s Mask 3D Is Coming To Nintendo 3DS

During the Nintendo Direct last night, Nintendo announced a remake for The Legend Of Zelda : Majora’s Mask for 3DS. Also announced was a special edition of the game for the UK. The special edition includes a special Majora's Mask pin in its own jewelry box, a decorated steelbook case for the game and a double sided poster. No word yet on pricing, availability or specific release date. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D will be available something in the spring of 2015. Though a February15 release date has been rumored.

Hyrule Warriors Gets 4 DLC Packs

Nintendo has announced that Hyrule Warriors will have 4 packs of DLC, and that if you choose to get all of them with a $20 season pass, you'll get the Dark Link costume for free. Hyrule Warriors comes out September 26 in North America and is already released everywhere else. The 4 packs will be as listed below.

• Master Quest Pack: New weapon, scenario, adventure map, and two costumes
• Twilight Princess Pack: New character, weapon, adventure map, and two costumes
• Majora's Mask Pack: Two new characters, adventure map, and three costumes
• Boss Pack: Two new games modes

Could This Be The Release Date For Super Smash Bros. On Wii U ?

The image below was posted on Twitter, it depicts a reservation card with a November 21 release date for Super Smash Bros. on Wii U. No official word on a release date has come from Nintendo. Nintendo has stated that the game’s release window is Winter 2014. Nintendo typical release there games on Fridays, so the date could be real.

Free DLC With Launch Of Hyrule Warriors

The free DLC will add a new mode, weapons and the option to select music. There's no information yet on the details, pricing or even further additional content. The first DLC pack will be launched when the game is released, Thats September 19 for Europe, September 20 for Australia and September 26 for North America. For those who don’t know Hyrule Warriors is a mashup of Dynasty Warriors and The Legend of Zelda.

Nintendo’s Amiibo Figures Available for Pre-Order

The first set of Nintendo’s Amiibo figures are said to interact initially with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U when it releases later this year. The Amiibos transfer information using NFC (Near field communication) similar to Disney Infinity of Skylanders characters. The Wii U has an NFC reader built into the game pad, for those who don’t know it’s the little rectangle in the left bottom corner of the game pad. Besides Super Smash Bros. the Amiibo’s are said to work with Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad : Treasure tracker,Yoshi’s Woolly World and Mario Party 10. Each figure will cost $13 USD, The first set of characters include.

The Legend Of Zelda Came Out 27 Years Ago

August 22nd marks the 27th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda’s release in North America. When it arrived on the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) it had already been out in Japan for over a year on the Famicom. The Legend of Zelda was released on a gold cartridge in the US and was the first home video game to use an internal battery for save data. The game sold over 6.5 million copies and was the first NES game to sell over a million. Nintendo recently revealed its next Zelda game for Wii U, simply called The Legend of Zelda for now. It’s currently scheduled to be released in 2015
